FIFA 13.

First topic message reminder :

Just over a month away until release and I have to say I'm starting to get excited. Personally I'll just be purchasing the standard edition however if you play alot of Be A Pro or UT the ultimate edition doesn't look to bad.

Anyone else looking forward to this release?

They moved in the English transfer window, Meireles moved afterwards inside the Turkish transfer window.

It's annoying, you'd have thought it'd only require a quick update, they do them fairly often when you turn the game on. They'd essentially just kick Meireles off the game anyway as I don't think there is a Fenerbache side.

It's frustrating when they have such detail with most things to let something like that slip through...and presumably stay like that until the January update.

Also, how awful do the crowds look still? Surely they have the technology to make them look better...they have been at the same level for about ten years.

I'd like the refs to actually be a bit more inept to match real life. Have them miss the obvious, show no common sense whatsoever and be totally inconsistent.

I've always thought the developers must have considered this, certainly the commentators act as if the referees can make mistakes, and in the career mode, there is often stories on the side about referees making mistakes.

Had my first crack at Fifa 13 the weekend, didnt bother updating from Fifa 12 considering i get about an hour a week to play it, and im waiting for Black Ops 2!

I thought it was good, looks slick, the first touch is a nice option as is the pitchside injury update...

My first game i managed to beat my mate 8-0 with Stevenage, so should be receiving a public apology some time soon!

Adebayor and Andy Carrol are playing great for me on ultimate team. I win nearly all the headers and they are good at corners aswell.

I have got Mertesacker in defence and partnered him with Shawcross. Its funny because every time I play online my opponent has all these fast players like Agbonlahor etc but all I do is defend deep so they can't use their pace against me. And then just hoof it up the pitch for either Adebayor or Carrol to win the header.

To be fair, the most frustrating people to play against online are people who pick Barcelona and genuinely just pass it across their defence and midfield for the entire game. It's so pointless, I like my games to be high scoring games where it's just both teams attacking each other.

Thats me then. I worked possession for like 2 minutes before dragging his defense all over the pace for a simple goal then received a XBL message telling me I was a n**. Which I opened after scoring a corner then replied 'break out the kleenex'

The most irritating thing that I've come up against was I was playing online against this guy who was 3 stars. He scored within 10mins and for the rest of the match he was backpassing and wasting time. I finished the match off and he sends me a message "ha ha i beat u. looooossssseeeeerrrrrr!!!"

I had a guy quit after the final whistle, depriving himself of 400 coins for no reason lol

Really can't get into Ultimate Team, it seems to be the most popular aspect of FIFA these days but ever since it was first introduced I haven't really enjoyed it. I think I like the more realistic aspects of FIFA, and Ultimate Team obviously isn't that.

Thats because you get destroyed at less than 100 chemistry.

You can build a good championship team for less than 3k

I'm really starting to enjoy the career part of Fifa13. About half way through the 1st season as a left winger and although I'm out on loan at Chesterfield Ive been called up to the England squad and got an appearance v Greece in a friendly, got a goal in the final minute of the game as well to cap it off.

Is anyone put of a active Pro Team i could join?

Just got in to the whole pro clubs thing, had fifa for an age but only realised this mode was going on under my nose! Drop in matches can be either hilarious or annoying.

Hilarious - the banter
Annoying - Everyone acting like Ronaldo and trying to run through everyone.

As long as everyone stays in position and your goalie isn't a kn*b who tries to run the pitch! Its really fun to play!

My son just started the career part as a Goalkeeper, He's loves it but its so boring to watch!
