Important End of Season information -- please read

STAR PLAYER BIDS ARE OPEN

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

Sign up now for the Euro Division Telegraph Fantasy Football League!

Participants: Olly, T5J, Twi5t, 5odhat, Ru55, Nando, Marky (if we spoon feed him), Greger5

Are they turning him into Heskey though? Lump it forward and get him to knock it on?

No one mentions Jagielka fouling Welbeck last night, went through him to get the ball. Bet if it was Vidic on Jelavic there would be an uproar.

Fellaini was playing more like a striker yesterday but I rate Toure better defensively than Fellaini.

Exactly my point. Shrewd move by Everton, but I certainly don't think he is unplayable. I think teams will rise up to his threat now if he continues to play in that position

We could now have a centre back pairing of Bassong and Turner. Literally nobody will get past without being hacked down.

(Disclaimer: Michael Turner will hopefully be nowhere near the starting XI now)

Anyone else see Man U's new signing Andesron yesterday? Hopefully he's better than Anderson... Whistle

Also, and I found this amazing, in the allotted 90 minutes of a match Messi has scored in every minute except for minutes 1,2,10,14,15,46,61,69! That is some going

Yeah. I should have kept him and Ramirez really, but I don't think I did too bad out of it. It was just too up in the air, and it still might fall through. Plus, general consensus was that no one rated him.

If you don't play a specialist DM in these games you get marked down for it, Arteta is not a DM but he has played that role brilliantly. Ok he don't tackle as much as someone like Lucas would but he is good at sitting back, watching players who make runs, follow them and jockey and put a foot in when he needs to.

Man Utd don't play with a DM but they seem to do fine.

"Firefighters have warned of the dangers of driving into a petrol forecourt when your car is on fire. picard

It came after a blazing Renault pulled into the Co-op petrol station on the A2, Watling Street, at 8.30pm yesterday.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said the man made the ‘sudden decision’ to drive into the forecourt and park after noticing flames coming from his car.

Firefighters spent an hour putting out the blaze and carrying out safety checks at the garage.

The spokesman added: "If you realise that your car might be alight when you are driving, pull over at the first available opportunity, but try to avoid exposing other people to risk."

No one was injured in the incident."

Im biased I know, but I think a midfield of Allen-Lucas-Cabaye could work. Keep hearing conflicting reports of whether Allen had a good game or not. On the face of it, I thought Lucas and Allen might make a very good partnership in midfield for Liverpool. I will give him time.

I was also impressed with the Cleverley and Scholes partnership. What did you think Viva? If CB's were fit, would you prefer a Scholes + Carrick centre midfield?
