First topic message reminder :
Yeah, the fielding certainly has left alot to be desired. Still the chances are being created and things must surely stick soon.

Bl...y run outs...
Good work from Tahir ...
At least that onslaught has meant they only need two and a bit an over now.
But it is a lot to ask of Anderson and Finn to stay with him...

Ah well. Prior Englands man of the series? For his keeping (and lack of competition) more than this innings

Great effort from Prior.
Right shot to take on, just didn't get hold of it.
Or not. No-ball!
Game on still.

HA HA! Those no-balls always come back to bite the quickies in the backside! I recall a situation involving Kemar Roach in the NZ series.

Re: England v South Africa, Lords, 3rd Test Thread
Prior has been a rare positive for sure.
It's been a cruel examination of what is probably the Third best side in tests.
Let's hope England can respond in future. SA have some old duffers kicking about now and eng have found some youth.

What a criminal waste that run out was. We still had a sniff with Swann there. Alas!

If England go on to win this, that no-ball will haunt Morne's dreams for a while.

Good call I think. Keep Tahir on with Jimmy on strike. Leave the new ball for a few overs.

Re: England v South Africa, Lords, 3rd Test Thread
South Africa's biggest cricket screw up since Klusener dropped the catch in the World Cup semi-final?
Still don't see us making the runs, but it's been a more than creditable effort from the lower order batsmen. Pity four of the top 6 only got single figures (OK, you can remove the blame from Taylor, but the other three...)

Pollock on tms is loving seeing his side go top. Can't blame him.
Never felt secure at the top for us, seemed ropey as soon as we got there.
I reckon they will be there a long time. The new Aussie.
