I have a midfield base starting with Toulalan and Schweinsteiger, in front of them is the required flair.

Sneijder, Sanchez (I'll tell him not to dive next week) and Tevez.

No it was the De Rossi that was voted by UEFA into the team for best players at the recent Euros.

I wouldn't take much notice when the President is Michel Platini, this is the UEFA that picked Ronaldo in the team of the tournament when he bottled it, UEFA who pick players on past reputations and who they play for. OK

Mine is Mvila, Vidal and Pastore, which also has it's weaknesses, but I also think covers a lot of the bases (Enforcer, drive and passing, unpredictable flair)

Does anyone else think Iniesta might be the best player in the world right now? (including Messi/Ronaldo)

I was watching the match yesterday, and he did everything supremely as he always does. He's individually brilliant, unselfish, and can operate most positions in midfield and attack.

Surely it's his turn for a World Player of the Year?

Bull - put your midfield up like everyone else and you will get comments.

Sod - I think you have four players head and shoulders above anyone else in Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.

The one I would pay the most money to watch is definately Iniesta though. He plays the game how I play it in my head.

Messi said that he hopes iniesta wins it this year as well.

Capoue, Arteta, Strootman. No big big names in there but feel they would work well together.

I am sick of it being Messi & Ronaldo winning world player of the year. Agree that Iniesta was quality and easily Barca's best player, although as a team I don't think they played well and that Real were on top. Khedira was again quality and think he's very under-rated.

In my head I'd play like Xavi or Scholes, but maybe that's because I can't dream of being as good at almost everything as Iniesta is. Messi and Ronaldo get the plaudits they deserve, but I think Iniesta is in their class and it can be a three way debate for best in the world.

I put Xavi in their too. He is a different type of player, but equally as good at it and it is equally important to how well Barcelona do

Mine is usually Motta/Sahin/Lamela.

I may switch Lamela round for Eriksen and i have Lamps as well.

I like the balance to it Bull. I would still have Eriksen over Lamela just myself.

You just need the Sahin that was at Dortmund to show up at Liverpool.

Afro, if you still need a deep lying playmaker, there's one in releases, priced £3.95m and playing that role for Borussia Dortmund this season Ok!

Maybe lacking a real playmaker, in a deep or advanced role in my opinion.

Kaka needs to get exposure somewhere else too.

Genuinely, you could have done with Moutinho had our deal gone through. Just to add a bit of creativity and passing nous in the middle.

Really out wide? Like RW? I always thought he was best playing as an AM or the most attacking of 3 CM's. Like in the CL Final against Liverpool in 2005, where he decimated them first half. I will always remember that through ball for Crespo for Milan's third goal. That was just majestic

Yeah I know, hence why I have been after him for ages. But tbh I didn't want to give up Abate, as there ain't many RB's out there.

I think the best midfields would have 1 ball winner (a Busquets type), 1 passer or box to box player (either a Xavi or a Toure type) and one flair AM (a Ozil type)

I would suggest Granero would be a good TP for you. He is moving to the PL apparently and he would definitely help your passing game.

I personally think we should all aspire to be a little more like Phil Neville. Did anybody see the awkward moment when Gary and Phil talked on MNF after the Man Utd game?

Carrick - He is good, but I don't think he is that mobile. He can pick a pass sure, but I'm not too sure over the defensive side of his game and mobility.
Allen - Good player, but might suffer if Liverpool struggle.
Cleverley - Again good player, but fitness and game time he actually gets could be an issue.
The Ox - Love him, he is a god.
Hazard - Started like a house on fire, but hasn't had a real proper test as of yet.
Marin - Think he is going to get lost in the shuffle at Chelsea.
Ben Afra - Mercurial player. On his day a world beater, but is quite inconsistent
