"Reports are gathering pace in France that Manchester City have opened talks with the France and Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila. The Brittany club recently told Tottenham they would not allow the highly-rated 22-year-old to leave for less than £12m."

I don't think M'Vila is all he's cracked up to be. He has a worse attitude than Javi Martinez. And there have been so many overrated French DM's over the years too which isn't helping his cause.

That's the main thing that has been making me try to shift him. To quote someone on here: "He'll either stay in France and his rating will drop, or he'll move to England prove he is vastly overrated"

He has been average for Rennes for a year and a half, but I always thought he was rated on here. As soon as I heard that comment above, I have been trying to shift him asap.

The thing is, sometimes it doesn't matter if a player is average or not, it's whether other people rate them. Veloso is a good example, he's always been rated highly on these games, but IMO he's a poor player. He had a lot of potential in his early days but that's it. He hasn't fulfilled it at all.

I've not seen enough of him in a live match to rate him either way but I've read enough about him to say, with a bit of confidence, he's not the player he sounds like he should be. I remember that quote, was it Viva or Hero?

I agree Mouse. Overrated is a good thing for these games.

And I have always said Veloso is Poopie.

I am more gutted that with a link to Man City, I could have probably got more for M'Vila than I did

Mexes is the most error prone CB in existence and has somehow managed to get himself moves to big club after big club.

Afraid I agree with TSJ on this one.

And the quote was Hero, but I think Viva thinks the same.

No one's slick as Gaston
No one's quick as Gaston
No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston's
For there's no man in town half as manly
Perfect, a pure paragon!
You can ask any Tom, Dick, or Stanley
And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on

No one's been like Gaston
A kingpin like Gaston
No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston
As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating!
My, what a guy, that Gaston!

Give five, "Hurrahs!"
Give twelve, "Hip hips!"
Gaston is the best and the rest is all drips

No one fights like Gaston
Douses lights like Gaston
In a wrestling match nobody bites like Gaston
For there's no one as burly and brawny
As you see I've got biceps to spare
Not a bit of him scraggly or scrawny
That's right!
And every last inch of me's covered with hair

No one hits like Gaston
Matches wits like Gaston
In a spitting match nobody spits like Gaston
I'm especially good at expectorating!
Ten points for Gaston!

When I was a lad I ate four dozen eggs
Every morning to help me get large
And now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs
So I'm roughly the size of a barge!

My, what a guy, that Gaston!

Hold
Girls, girls, girls, please
There's plenty for all
Oh yeah

No one shoots like Gaston
Makes those beauts like Gaston
Then goes tromping around wearing boots like Gaston
I use antlers in all of my decorating!
My, what a guy, Gaston!
