He wouldn't have picked up the injury though - they would have never played him.

Apparently they have a clause to take him back in January if they wish. I won't forgive them for that if they do, selfish scousers.

I don't want to blow my own trumpet (although we would if we could), but I think my team might me an advert for the benefits of selling the big names for the benefit of the whole team.

Gav's last set of tactics:

Hart
Walker--Touré--Coloccini--Criscito
Keita
Xavi---Wilshere
Podolski---Nilmar---Honda

Subs: Speroni, Santon, Clyne, Samuel, Elias, Sulejmani, Jelavic

My best tactics now:

Szczesney
Walker---Jagielka---Vidic---Ansaldi
Mascherano-----Vidal
Reus-------Pastore------Jovetic
Balotelli

Subs: Speroni, Toure, Gibbs, Medel, Maher, Vucinic, Jelavic

I have had to sacrifice a few big names, but feel the overall team is much, much stronger now

We'll still beat Norwich.

We'd beat Norwich with a footless midget up front.

For the record, I'd have been happy to pay up and let you have Tevez after our bet, unfortunately the rules prevent such a deal happening.

Lets do it so it involves the NFL fantasy thingy. Lets say if Norwich win you have to trade away your 1st round pick, but if West Ham win I have to trade away mine.

Hell no!

I don't care about the fantasy football thing on the Telegraph and I would happily transfer my highest point scorer for Titus Bramble, but the NFL one matters more.

Plus we don't have a footless midget up front, we have Carlton Cole. We're at a significant disadvantage.

How big is the lid????

What is the funniest injuries to footballers you have heard of?

Ones that spring to my mind are:

Canizares missing the world cup after someone chucked him an aftershave bottle and he dropped it on his foot and severed a tendon.

And two former Bristol City ones are Rob Edwards missed the start of the season with a bad cut to his head after he banged it on the ceiling whilst trampolining during pre-season training, and Matt Bryant was out for several weeks after injuring his back whilst taking of his pants!

It's a small lid but it's one of those ones where you have to press the sides and turn it at the same time. It's completely stuck too, I still can't get it off

I'd say Darius Vassell using a Black and Decker drill to burst a blood blister underneath his big toenail and gétting an infection is the funniest injury.

I once had to drill through my own big toenail to release a load of blood and pressure that had built up after I dropped a coffee table on it.

I can't provide a Youtube link because of my work fun blockers, but type in Jamie Pollock own goal and it will be there!

He lobbed a player and then went to nod it back to his keeper but put too much on it.

Chris Brass scored one by kicking it off his own face too - broke his nose while doing it.

Iain Dowie scored a belter though. Planted a Stockport corner into his own net with a proper strikers header.

Meet Viva.

He's the Brendan Rogers of our league, in that he has no strikers and is going to end up playing his reserve as he can't get another one in

No Marky I'm not silly, you are going to buy him off me for the same amount I bought him for.

Zidane I am a very warm and welcoming person but when people start to interfere into things that don't concern them I get a bit annoyed. I'll let you of with a warning pal OK
