That must be the worst line call ever, the ball was almost in the middle of the service box.

Come on Tipsy - I love Ferrer's gallant heart, but would so like to see Tipsy do this.
Have just sat on my long distance glasses (don't laugh it comes to us all!!!) and so the tv is a bit blurred atm and I can't make out the ball Luckily reading specs okay so relying on you lot to keep me up to date (nobody mention bi-focals please!)

Weakest Umpire performance I've seen for a long time. Keeps saying he doesn't know.ryan86 wrote:That must be the worst line call ever, the ball was almost in the middle of the service box.

Tipsy being aided a bit by the calls I think. It is keeping him fired up and keeping the adrenaline pumping. He is playing some fabulous shots and dare I say it looking set for the semis.

Re: US Open Day 11
Ouch, that looked really sore. A man of Tipsy's size (he's all muscle of course) falling on his hip on a hard surface.... I'm surprised he hasn't done any damage. But thankful of course.
And that was a really excellent point from Ferrer. That sums him up perfectly. A bit lucky with the net cord but he deserved it after all that running.

Raonic fell over a few times against Murray although whether that was down to his own doing for over-reaching I'm not sure.

Re: US Open Day 11
Tipsarevic hitting the ball far too hard at the moment. There's no need for it and Ferrer will surely go on to win it now. I wonder if Tipsy is hurting a lot and was going for clean winners.

Re: US Open Day 11
Tipsy is probably worse at approaching the net than Roddick at this point...sad way to hand the break back. This looks to me like a 7-5 finish.

Ferrer levels at 4-4, that one point at the net was incredible. Huge pressure on Tipsy now.

Level at 4-4 and Tipsy now looking very tired and Ferrer still keen to bounce around and show he has more running in him. The tide has turned.

What I want to know is how the length of this match is going to affect the scheduling of the Adam Sandler game?

Actually on the subject of glasses, are Tipsy's just sunglasses or does he actually need them like Shvedova?

Really disagree with the trainer for cramp. It's not an injury.

Trainer (Marin Cilic's twin?) is on for Tipsy now. It's not looking good.

Nice Tipsy, Ferrer deserves to have this potential win taken some gloss off it, Ferrer will be easy money for either Djok/Delpo.

Ferrer called an MTO when 2-1 down, you would think he isn't going to play more than 2 games. Naughty pusherlaverfan wrote:bogbrush wrote:Really disagree with the trainer for cramp. It's not an injury.

Re: US Open Day 11
I am in a quandary. I would love to see Tipsy win for sheer guts and as reward for the greater amount of jaw-dropping shots he has played. However, how fit will he be if he makes the semi? Fit enough to be competitive? I am not so sure.

Tipsarevic to win and conveniently withdraw if Djokovic wins tonight
(Please note: I am joking).

Re: US Open Day 11
Well played Ferrer Unlucky Tipsy, I thought the fightback to take it to a TB after that fall was magnificent.
And with that, I'm off to bed. Del Potro to beat Djokovic! But much, much, much more importantly, Adam Sandler to win!
