606V2 Official top 10 pound for pound rankings (Please submit personal top 10's)

First topic message reminder :

With this forum taking off I think it's time for the 606V2 top 10 Pound for Pound rankings. Each 606 poster can post their respective POUND FOR POUND Top 10 rankings, which I will then use a scoring system to calculate the result.

Rules:
Only 1 post per 606 member.
Only current fighters allowed.
Outlandish listing’s will be DQ (so please keep your listings sensible)

Principles:
Your top 10 should be based as at the current point in time.

Point Scoring System:
Quite simple, #1 scores 10 points, #2 scores 9 points etc… I will tally up the totals by the deadline date and will present the results (using my Excel wizardry).

NOTE: PLEASE TRY AND USE THE FULL CORRECT SPELLING. ALSO, KEEP DEBATE TO A MINIMUM FOR NOW.

For the record, the previous top 10 606 ratings as at 21st December 2010 was:

2 Floyd Mayweather Jr
3 Sergio Gabriel Martinez
4 Juan Manuel Marquez
5 Nonito Donaire
6 Juan Manuel Lopez
7 Wladimir Klitschko
8 Bernard Hopkins
9 Andre Ward
10 Fernando Montiel


I expect the above to change to some degree with the likes of Juan Manuel Lopez and Fernando Montiel suffering earth shattering defeat

I agree we should have our own show we're hilarious. Would also help the BBC combat the accusations of ageism.

There should definitely be a thread for people to talk about D4 though. Although it may lead to every thread on the forum being merged into one.

No it wouldn't, you'd just have one post trying to incorportate Pacquiao rather than that post followed by hundreds of the same counter posts against D4 we've seen many times before. Seriously though, how well has the tactic to try and get him off Manny worked over the past few years?

It hasn't, because there was no pro active way to contain the overspill. We have a system here, and the admins have made it forum policy to merge threads of similar content.

All it requires is that everybody plays the game.

Dear God why is Andre Ward getting so many placings?! Can someone tell me, other than spoiling and nutting his way to a win over Kessler, what he's done to warrant a p4p spot? I don't have any SMW's in mine, but Froch should be ranked no1 at 168lb and higher than hometown headbutter Ward every day of the week.

People are just going to ignore the rules about restricting discussions to the topics at hand are they? Where is the logic in hijacking a thread and dragging into a different topic and then accusing other people of doing the same thing. A school boy logic perhaps.

Apparently, Pacquiao is fighting Mosely soon, so cue endless comments on a number of different articles about Mosely's age and the fact Mayweather fought him not long ago, even though its been discussed at length on other pages. We can always take people out of context and misrepresent their statements as well. Why not leave this discussion on the appropriate pages. As I remember people were sick of the continual Mayweather and Pacquiao debates on the old 606. This topic is about the current p4p top 10.

Or, perhaps, the logic of somebody who spends more hours than he cares to trying to keep the peace while another member deliberately pushes buttons.

The MAJORITY of members are aware of the problem, and if your arithmetic is so restricted as to not be able to do the math I would suggest it is YOU who displays traits of schoolboy logic.

I've done it on his performances and results in the last 2/3 years rather than just his last fight and hopkins is past his best but is still a worthy contender at world level as can be seen by others p4p ratings

Why is Wlad getting so high up? Who has he beaten?He fought nobody's and lost thrice. People have the cheek to challenge Rocky's level of competition, at least he beat 'em all.
