First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made its way to Oxford and the only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Seve Ballesteros, Andy Fenby, Nick Williams,Tim Visser, Adam Ashley Cooper and Paul Lawrie up on the wall.

Grand bud. Paddington is well handy from Ealing Broadway.

I just love it when a plan comes hap-hazardly together!

Think the only Sherlock I've seen apart from the new ones is something about a great mouse detective called Basil.....

Hi Dreamer - how's Amber?

Sherlock Holmes has been played by loads of actors in different guises. The Basil Rathbone films were made in the 1930s/1940s. I think the most recent Sherlock was that BBC TV series with Benedict Cumberbatch (that's a ridiculous name for an actor...).

Hey Cari coffee

That's a lovely thought, thank you Very Happy I'm not brave enough to put myself through TGBBO! I'd probably be ok with the cake side but when they get to the pastries and breads I break out in a cold sweat Laugh It's going ok, I have orders for a couple of birthday cakes later in the year and I'm looking at costings for christmas cakes at the moment, I have a couple of orders for them too. Slow but steady really, but that's the how I want it to go at the moment Smile

That was a nightmare before we had Holly given the operation. A nightmare! Firstly they menstruate for a week or two, twice a year. And it's messy. So unless you want little spots of blood all through the house you have to keep them confined to one room.

Secondly, you can't leave them unsupervised or let them off the lead. Male dogs can smell pheromones that indicate there is a female in heat and they will dig under fences, they will jump hedges, they will run across busy roads... nowhere is secure!

Thirdly, your own dog will be just as keen to meet male suitors. Walking the dog becomes a real chore because a) you can't let them off the lead and b) when they see a male dog they will just about rip your arm out of its socket trying to get to it.

All in all, it's not the easiest thing to navigate as a pet owner!

Dreamer, Bath just been sunk at Castle Grim - again, Chiefs are beating Quins 35-25 so could be a great result there, Irish are beating Saints 36-10 so if things stay the same, Sale will be 8 points adrift at the bottom of the AP tonight.

Welsh v Sarries and Wasps v Wuss tomorrow. OK

If that guy is proven guilty, he'd be better off dead really. Imagine life in prison for him? All the hardened Lifers/murderers(with kids) of adults, would take him in a second. Sick justice, but real. So it would be permanent isolation for him. The police moved so quickly on this. Must have hard evidence.

Still, innocent until proven guilty.

Dreamer,
Mo just told me that his daughter and April - were best friends? Jesus. He must be mentally sick. IF guilty.

I find it hard to talk like this when children are involved. It just seems easier to handle when it's adults. Is that wrong? I just think that the innocence and frailty of a child and of the elderly - should be treasured and protected at ALL costs, by what's left of Society.

I think it's because it goes against every human instinct to harm a child, Gibbo, is all. it's intrinsic in us to care for the vulnerable and cases like this that go against that instinct....just can't comprehend it.

And I don't know about best friends, but April was reported as friends with his daughter, and some reports that his daughter was of the group April was playing with on Monday evening.

Gods if it is him...ah man, just ychafi.

Will we leave it there pal? I'm sure Ozzy & Glas have strong views on this, but their professionalism wont allow too much comment on the individual case. Which is correct.

I just pray the little angel didn't suffer too much. Hopeless wish but a real one.

Time out. Back for the rugby.

I fancy a good Glasgow win unless the Blues have a miraculous defensive turnaround and the other??

ah man, wouldn't like to call it, but on form? (which v rarely matters in these games I know) I have a feeling about Munster...

I have a feeling about Munster too pal. Like about 15 pts behind us, back in their proper place. Cool

I backed Glasgow as great prospects to make the playoffs again this year, after last year. If they can find that consistency again, they will. Would like to see them challenge Leinster, Munster, O's, Ulster and Scarlets for it. Not sure about Blues this year. Maybe. Its great to see Treviso progress too.

The PRO12 Rocks On.
