Not sure I can make it. Frustratingly arranged to be out of town a few weeks ago, and only consulted the Rabo fixtures when confirming. Schoolboy stupidity.
Incidentally, also have two tickets for Scotland vs New Zealand that I now can't use (sodding wedding ) if anyone is interested..... (PM)

Looking forward to this, some cracking match ups between the two sides.
Will be there, I hope Edinburgh give a good account of themselves having sorted out the mistakes from last Friday.

Not sure it will be high. A few of supporters will be playing/coaching tomorrow. We're used (and prefer) the Friday night games.

I reckon 6k would be adequate considering so many people will be playing/coaching/watching their own rugby games on a Saturday afternoon.

Will be there, ST holder. I bought a ticket for a friend at lunchtime, it was number 3996, add on ST holders, business club, other club guests and sales today and tomorrow and I would reckon about 8k crowd.

How did sarries get that penalty...?
They are struggling in the scrum and the Samoan loosehead keeps popping up.

Saracens looking composed, almost in direct contrast.
Not a lot of creative play by Saracens (shock), but good old fashioned straight ahead Rugby.

Re: Heineken Cup Round 1 (Pool 1): Edinburgh Rugby v Saracens
Some quite strange calls by the referee. No idea what the Brown penalty was for - was given much too quickly to be for holding.
Whatever you think of Jimmy Durante Borthwick - his lineout runs exceptionally smoothly.
Bit of a lack of Edinburgh composure at present.

Embra have lost the plot, laidlaw and Brown are having nightmares, leaking points and feild position...
Rees is being forced to box and that is not his thing at all.

Re: Heineken Cup Round 1 (Pool 1): Edinburgh Rugby v Saracens
Edinburgh need some composure..
They have some good players, but they aren't picking good lines in attack. Bar viscera and Denton.
Richie Rees is too hurried. He was like this at the blues.
Yapp ford and the other fella doing well in the front row for gunners..
Score doesn't reflect the game. .

This is really very poor from Edinburgh, nobody is taking control; Ford looks totally lost and Denton doesn't look fit at all.

In a world that barates SH's that are too slow you think this one is too quick??? no chance.
Ashton hits Visser = Vissers ball and Ashton floored!!

Re: Heineken Cup Round 1 (Pool 1): Edinburgh Rugby v Saracens
16 - 0 but on the plus side embra CANNOT get any worse, the pack must look at the half backs and FB and give them a throttling, Laidlaw has left points out there, missed touch and put the backline under pressure, Rees is kicking way too long and Brown has been utter garbage, runs when he should kick and kicks when he should go, and then goes dead...

So soo poor from Edinburgh. They need to sort this out 2nd half or they're going to be blown away by Saracens and hogdson boot. Saracens are destroying them in defence. Line outs have been absolutely appalling. They need to keep ball in hand and not get sucked into a territorial kicking game. Why the hell are the backs lining up so deep??!?

Sarries defence and line speed has been superb.
I hope Neil Back is going to town on the Edinburgh team just now, they have been awful.

Doesn't seem to be that big a difference between the teams. Edi just missing a pass, losing a ball.
Sarries look very composed, but not stressed or rushed. This is typical sarries Rugby. Not dominant, just grinding teams down, a little at a time.

Edinburgh 2nd half = no more nock ons, 100% line out success, flatter quicker ball.

Sorry Polynesian. I thought he looked Samoan rather than Fijian or Tongan
But I guess he could equally be a kiwi or Aussie.
Anyhow he is getting a pasting in the tight
Britz yellow, nice break gunners but no support. To get back into this Edinburgh really need to take advantage of being in sarries half.

How is that a pigging yellow card. There were no other edinburgh players near the ball. Pedantic and crap. Especially after he missed blatant tugging back on Ashton.

So he is a repatriated Tongan Born in New Zealand that qualifies for England? Brother of the wasps lad?
Not up to much, I'd leave him to be Tongan if I were you.
And yes of course Toby Faletau is Tongan. Born there, parents are from there, he is as Tongan as it comes.

No problem MM
So far, and there is still time for it to change, Saracens have just been too strong and fast for Edinburgh.
Mind Embra defence does well there and they have one last chance to score points while Brits is off.
