There are better players coming up with the future increases. Its only because I had planned from week 0 to sell in lawyers and buy Madman and just never got the suitable lawyers

sodhat wrote:AHAAAAA Alan Partridge FC 0-2 Under Brescia
I think Brescia have the better balance in the middle of the park and that the attacking quartet would be too much in the end. The movement of Tevez will be key and I think he can nab a couple of goals to swing it. Not a bad set up from AAP but I think they need a bit more invention up the park. They have good functional wingers and a decent CF, but just lack a spark to set it going.

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-1 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Tight affair, and I think the narrowness of Mannschaft will benefit them defensively, but less so offensively. La Chorizo have a good balance and a strong Spanish attack, but will probably find it tricky against the two banks of four of BM. Two good sides, differing ideals, and I see a draw.

Bradistan Glue Sniffers 2-2 Total Juan Carrs
This one had me scratching my head for a while. Obviously a very different philosophy too. I think that Munain has too much invention to be effectively stifled by Kelly, but equally, the long ball to Fellaini may be hard to counter and Tiote is prone to getting himself in trouble and I’d expect him to be booked fairly quickly. I will say a draw is likely here, with a couple each.

Bunga Bunga FC 2-1 VFL Fassbender
Bunga will have the edge in the middle with two world class operators there and with the utilisation of width and the crossing of Jarvis I see goals from Fletcher to win it. VFL are a good side and the tactics are improving. Just a little unlucky to face the best midfield pair going.

---------------------------------

Under Brescia FC 1-0 AHAAAAAAAAAA Alan Partridge FC
Tevez - None
Alan Partridge FC set up well but there was a few players not playing in their best position. This didn’t help as Under Brescia were pressuring from the front looking to force mistakes which worked effectively against the players who were not in their favoured position. Carvalho’s experienced help keep the game to low scoring affair but the tireless work rate of Tevez gave him & Zapata trouble late on in the match. Alan Partridge FC did well down the wings, defensively & attackingly. At this level though players must be played in their favoured position.

VFL Fassbender 1-0 Bunga Bunga FC
Szalai - None
Fassbender's strong defence proved too much for Bunga Bunga to break down. Snodgrass and Jarvis didn’t give Fletcher the supply he requires. Pirlo and Marchisio were great today, dictating a lot of the play although more is required from the wide men. In what was quite a boring game Szalai was gifted a goal when Petric nicked the ball of a dithering Bassong, squared it across to him to slot home for the win.

Total Juan Carrs FC 1-1 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
Susaeta - Fellaini
Great game today, real attacking play from both teams, end to end stuff. Susaeta gave the home team the lead on the half hour mark, bursting counter attack with Gibbs caught out of position it allowed Muniain to find Susaeta in acres of space with only the keeper to beat a simple finish was applied & the home team are 1 up. The Glue Sniffers play down the wings got them back in the game, Barnetta finding Fellaini in the box to head home. Today’s battle of Tiote vs Fellaini got very heated which saw Tiote sent off for two bad challenges resulting in yellow. Despite all the pressure from Glue Sniffers they couldn’t take advantage, Cisse hitting the post in the final 5 minutes the game was seen out as a draw.

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-2 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Soldado - Lima, Cleverly
Bratwurst Mannschaft defensive setup was very good. Really identified the main threats of Deportivo la Chorizo & how to nullify them. Although Isco was kept quiet one threat not addressed was the wings with Suso & Callejón. Soldado was a handful as usual & handed the home team the lead midway through the first half. Puyol vs Kießling was a great battle, despite the height advantage the experience Spaniard did well keeping Kießling off target. It was the big man’s strike partner Lima who pulled one back for the visitors with a darting run in behind. The substitution for Mannschaft worked well and got them the win. With the wingbacks bombing forward, Shaqiri & Giggs all chucking the ball into the box a mistake was bound to happen sooner or later, a scramble in the box saw Cleverly get to a loose ball first to toe in from close range.

-----------------------------------------

VFL Fassbender 1-1 Bunga Bunga FC
(Großkreutz) (Fletcher)
Fassbender were stronger in defence and able to limit Bunga Bunga, but the harsh reality is that until Fassbender get a striker or two that 1. People have heard of, and 2. Score goals regularly, Bull won't be able to turn his tactical improvement into wins.

Total Juan Carrs 1-2 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
(Hemed) (Fellaini, Rodallega)
Juan Carrs very attacking, bound to create chances but the experience of Ferdinand and Lucio limits them. Bradistan were led by Fellaini who was dominant throughout.

Deportivo la Chorizo 2-1 Bratwurst Mannschaft
(Isco, Soldado) (Kießling)
Despite the great instructions from Trebs, I just don't think he has the players to stop the attacking threat from Chorizo and I believe Chorizo have the squad to go on and win the league. Bratwurst looking promising but their defence isn't the greatest and Casemiro is unproven in terms of being the DM required.

Under Brescia 2-1 Alan Partridge
(Tevez, Afellay) (Bastos)
Brescia very well setup as always, with a very strong attack cause problems, and while Alan Partridge have a decent defence and good attacking options, they just come up short. Alan Partridge a real step-up compared to their City of Norwich predecessors and Tooze shouldn't be downhearted.

------------------------------------

Fassbender 1-1 Bunga Bunga fc - Both very strong sides Olly side is good up top but Bulls defender is very solid so i can see them holding out , Need a better forward though bullbo

Juan Carrs 1-2 Glue Sniffers - A close game this but im not sure the young spaniards would be able to deal with the physical presence of the away side. I also think Juan Carrs have made a mistake not playing Michu/Rodrigo

Deportivo 1-0 Bratwurst - Deportivo are probably one of if not the strongest all round in the league i think ultimately the pace in their front 3 will win the game for them , I feel with Casemiro in the middle with Cleverley you definately need another to link up the play there just to keep the play ticking over

Alan Patridge 1-1 Brescia - id say their fairly evenly matched as with Bunga vs Fassbender one side is defensively solid and the other is good up top i think Holt would get enough of the ball to dominate the defenders before Tevez used his magic to bring them back level

------------------------------------------

VFL Fassbender 1-1 Bunga Bunga FC
Großkreutz------------Marchisio
Bunga looked stronger in midfield where they had a lot of possesion on the ball but when they went out wide the delivery of the ball was not at the "world class" level Olly expected. Fassbender quick on the break using the width and that is where they got their goal from.

Total Juan Carrs FC 2-0 Bradistan Glue Sniffers
Susaeta
Hemed
I feel this style worked very well against Bradistan, the two in midfield for Bradistan struggled against Juan Carrs one touch play in the final third. Bradistan were overwhelmed and did not have the players to keep possession of the ball losing it a lot in their own half.

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-2 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Callejón--------------------Cleverly
-------------------------------Lima
Bratwurst lopoked comfortable for most of the game, Deportivo did have spells and that is where they got the goal. Puyol did well to keep Kießling quite, Cleverly found a lot of spaceand get the forward passes, the Deportivo midfield were not quick enough to close him.

---------------------------------------

VFL Fassbender v Bunga Bunga FC
1-1
Petric – Flecture
I like the positivity from Fassbender, to go out in search for goals. They’ve gone two up to and I think it worked well for them. I think the only thing letting them down. Perhaps with a bit more quality going forward they’d get a few more goals. Bunga look good in the midfield and the combination of Marchisio and Pirlo works a treat and salvages them a point, in a tightly contested game.

Total Juan Carrs FC v Bradistan Glue Sniffers
2-0
Muniain, Herrera
I like TJC attacking philosophy and think it works well against the aging defence of BGS. I believe that with all the experience that Rio and Lucio have will contain the youth and energy of TJC for only so long. Once the dead lock is broken the gates open. If Fellaini were playing in a deeper role, it would of helped and maybe gained BGS a point.

Deportivo la Chorizo v Bratwurst Mannschaft
1-1
Isco - Shaqiri
I think that both teams will dominate at different periods of the game and will come down to who can take their chances. For that I give a draw, as I don’t see much between them.

Under Brescia FC v AHAAAAAAAAAA Alan Partridge FC
2-0
Tevez x2
Under Brescia are the clear winners today. They have more going forward in Afellay, Mirallas and Tevez. I think their energy, movement and quality is too much for Aha to Take On for Me.

Definately and with his form in Bundesliga he is a good option.

Be interesting to see what Heynckes does now Gomez is returning. Switch to two up front, keep Gomez on the bench or drop Mandzukic. I can see it being the first one, so one of them is going to get splinters

Can't say I'm best pleased with that result. Do people genuinely read the tactics? If I'm honest some of Bull's instructions were hardly "tactics" and it seems as if nobody took notice and my concerted effort to attack down my left side/Bull's weakened right.

Going to two up front is the least likely for me. There formation has worked perfectly, so I think it will be one of Mand and Gomez with Robben and Ribery either side and Kroos behind.

Olly - I don't vote, but I would have gone for a draw too. I think you are being harsh on Bull's tactics. There was some guff in there, (but then you had Jarvis and Snodgrass delivering world class crosses!), but he did pick up on your targeting the flanks and gave good instructions to decent players to stop you,

Or even Muller and Ribery. Forgot all about Muller, who along with Kroos has been their best player.

I have a lawyers offer of £6m for Steven Pienaar which I am very tempted by. Also Leon Britton for £3.75m.

I will consider bids for either before about midday when I need to do something to strengthen my defence.

I believe I said, "and whip in the world class crosses you can". Now I'm not saying they do everytime, but don't anybody tell me they can't. Because I have seen them both do it live numerous times. It's not a matter of opinion, it is a fact.

As for Bull's tactics, yes he did pick up me targetting the flanks, but people can't seem to comprehend the constant 2 on 1's I would have been getting on Riether with Jarvis and Garrido, which would have lead to brilliant chances. Also nobody has picked up on the substitutions I made on 70 minutes if it was a draw or I was losing. If I would have lost because of this I would have accepted it because at least people would have read my tactics thoroughly.

As for Bull's actual tactics, I'm sorry he knows I love him, but if I was voting on them every week it would hurt. Such pearls of wisdom as telling the GK to, "watch your ground", the CB's to, "defend through the middle to stop play in the middle" would be demeaning to tell a 10 year old let alone professional players.

I would accept the result if Bull would have won, or I would have won, but it has annoyed me that people clearly haven't read the tactics and comprehended them.

I really don't see you have a point. I think your tactics were no better or worse than Bulls and clearly most other people think the same thing. Reading through the tactics, I would have seen a stalemate and think you would have cancelled each other out.

The two tactics you point out seem quite sensible to me and far less fluffy than "deliver the world class crosses you can". How about, get crosses into the box and let other decide whether they are good crossers or not as it is entirely a matter of opinion whether they are great or world class

Both Jarvis and Snodgrass can deliver good crosses into the box, but seriously...world class? You are talking Iniesta, Beckham, Gerrard kind of delivery

Which area of my defence is the actual weak point that people see?

I hope it's CB because I like my full back combination, especially Pasqual.

I have seen them both do it live with my very own eyes. I wouldn't put it in there if I they couldn't do it thumbsup

Would to constant 2 on 1's I would have had on Riether not had a effect on the outcome??????
