Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to the historical city of Rome, the owner Giiovanni, is a Canadian-Italian, and welcomes all after a great day of rugby.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Dane Coles, Aaron Jarvis, Samson Lee and Schalk Brits up on the wall. Erm, actually there is a second rule. No elephants, unless they're Effervescing - we can't be barring a Chiefs fan

Later I'm going to be making steak & cheese pies, my team at work are having an "international day" where everyone brings in something from "home" (most of my team are from overseas as there's a real shortage of locals with sufficient math skills)

Bad lucky Leinster and well played the Os! Sounds like Leinster weren't using their heads in that one.

Just looked at the table and the top 6 clubs are a reverse of how they finished last season while the bottom 6 are almost the same as last season. Current 9, 10, 11 finished 10, 11, 9 last year.

It's a dark day when a lad with his potential is written off as he will not conform to a rigid gameplan that just does not suit him. When was he last put into any space? If you want boshers who can make a few yards in confined spaces and turn over the opposition at the ruck, them he's not your man.

I'm old fashioned as heck and make no excuses for it. A wing needs panache, he has it. If what Leinster want are extra flankers wearing 11, 12, 13 and 14, well good for them, but its not for me.

A very late interception try did for Barf, so I read on Planet Rugby PJ. Gutting way to lose.

Wasps nabbed a losing bp at Sarries, with (3rd choice 9) Charlie Davies redeeming himself to score at the death after being charged down for Sarries' try.
