Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to the historical city of Rome, the owner Giiovanni, is a Canadian-Italian, and welcomes all after a great day of rugby.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Dane Coles, Aaron Jarvis, Samson Lee and Schalk Brits up on the wall. Erm, actually there is a second rule. No elephants, unless they're Effervescing - we can't be barring a Chiefs fan

We just can't seem to shake these pesky Scarlets off our tail! We've won 7 games straight and if they get the bonus here they'll still only be a point behind us. Ok, we have a game in hand, but they are persistent blighters!

Forza Zebre, I suppose, but I'm guessing that sentiment will dissipate as I sit back and enjoy the men in red running in a few good tries in this match.

Stranger things have happened Notch...you never know, maybe the Scarlets will find it much too cold to play... I don't like one-sided games, so I hope it isn't a cricket score.

Not enjoying this game at all. After 25 minutes it's 0-3 and not a whiff of a try. The discipline's been pretty bad from both sides, although no binnings yet.

Well certainly not a cricket score so far! Zebre missing easy points though. Scarlets yet to trouble the scoreboard.

Scarlets winning this without a BP would be a good result for Ulster, Glasgow etc. I suppose. Still a LONG way to go in this game. We were in a much worse position this time last night.

Both teams have someone in the bin now. I missed a bit of it because there's a fireworks display going on in Bute Park, and I can watch it from my window, so I got distracted. Easily done. Some of the fireworks are shaking my windows!

Noswaith dda pawb / evening all. The pup wasn't too sure what to make of the fireworks, but she's chewing happily on a tripe bone now (they stink to high heaven, but what the hey).

Just filmed the finale of the fireworks on my mobile. You can hear some random dude talking from underneath my window though. I'll stick it on FB later. I've got a video of Tommy on my phone as well. I thought I was filming him scoring his second try against the Blues...but I hadn't pressed record until he walked past me back down the pitch afterwards.

Spent the afternoon at a gymnstics thing with P4. She got to meet Beth Tweddle, medal and all! Very happy girl!

They have Zebre down as scoring a converted try and 2 penalties but are only giving them 6 points!

Scarlets have been poor tbh, and whilst they are probably the most likely winners even now against a very limited Zebre side, they don't deserve to be in front. Big last 10/15 minutes.

Some decent moves there by Zebre - considering they were under a lot of pressure, but they're making a lot of errors. They would be ahead had their kicker not missed the early penalties.

Awh bollix. Kristian Phillips intercepts. 17-13 before conversion. Seven minutes to go.

Ahhh, there's the try. Heartbreaker for Zebre. Forza! Still time.

Well they're not giving up...even if the score stays as it is, it'll be a respectable one for them.

That Scarlets kicker looks a bit like Tommy when he was younger.

Scarlets scarcely deserve the win and I think pretty much any other side would have punished them, but an off-day is just that. At least they got the four points.

Still top of National 1 lucky. Promotion to the Championship would be no good though. Ealing could not sustain a fully pro team.

I played last 15. Great scrummaging from me in my time. Brynmawr had Toby Faletau's brother playing 3 (who my side tucked up when I came on). Toby watched too. I expect a call soon, as a scrummaging lock. Look out Peej, I'll be in the boiler house against Baff.

Having seen Quins earlier, I have no idea what Mike Brown can do to get picked if he's been dropped for Goode. Once again, for like the millionth game in the row, he was excellent and I don't see any flaws in his game

By the way, he is one lazy buzzard is Josh Faletau. Garbage. Fat, lazy and slow. No wonder he's dropped down from Pontypool to three divisions below.

CJ - as a neutral, I thought the Quins v Glaws game was pretty good. Both teams going at it, and some great skill from Williams to open up Glaws for Hopper's try.

Hopper did the 'shusshing' thing to the crowd though.



Anyway, I fear I'm going to suffer a barren weekend with Wasps at Sarries tomorrow

I think Wasps are good for a LBP mate, they've got the squad to steal a win if Sarries don't play well
