The Dew Drop Inn Virtual La Botticella Pub, Rome.
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to the historical city of Rome, the owner Giiovanni, is a Canadian-Italian, and welcomes all after a great day of rugby.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Dane Coles, Aaron Jarvis, Samson Lee and Schalk Brits up on the wall. Erm, actually there is a second rule. No elephants, unless they're Effervescing - we can't be barring a Chiefs fan

F*#kin Munster!!
No room for JJ Hanrahan in the squad to face Cardiff Blues. Ian Keatley get pushed from flyhalf to fullback to centre instead.

It's been sunny here Gibbo, after a rainy start. Cold, though. I love it when it starts getting cold.

I love cold, crisp and clear weather. Love it. You can wrap up and go for a walk or on the bike. This is the time of year for thick, hot, peasoup and hot chocolate with rum. Lovely.

It just pishes rain in Ireland so the long walks in cold weather aren't an option.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual La Botticella Pub, Rome.
Anyone see the local Irish group who were approached by Chris Brown to be a supporting act at his show in Dublin.
Their last album was apparently in aid of domestic violence charities and raising awareness of it.
They turned down the big bucks following Browns domestic violence towards his girlfriend saying they couldnt feel comfortable working with him.
Respect. Values over money.

Ooh, ya cheeky feicer, first of all our soccer league isn't a winter league. It starts in March and ends in March. It's a summer league. As for the mediocre bit, well yes it probably is overall when you consider the height it was at around 6 years or so ago, it has declined in quality overall. The numbers it produces that go to England don't lie though, neither do the internationals.
Cork City alone have 4 ex-players in the squad for next month's friendyl. At the Euros there were 6 ex-LOI players in it.
Anyway there goes part of my rant for the day. As for JJ not being in the panel, a feicing disgrace. I'm also wondering does Duncan Williams have private photoes of Penney with a sheep or something. It's the only reason he is starting I'd say

Thomond however it is forced to send its best players to England so it is mediocre. You wont see a league of Ireland player who looks like he could really represent Ireland in a crucial match.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual La Botticella Pub, Rome.
I said it is mediocre though, there was a time when it was on par with League 1 and probably some of the bottom teams of the Championship but now it is meidcore, I agreed with you.
The myth that there isn't talent in it is bollix though, that's more of a general rant aggrieved at barstoolers and the general public who don't support their local league and then b!tch about the problems that the national team have.

Speaking of horror films (although I didn't find the Omen that scary at all), I was disappointed that there weren't any horror films on the main channels last night.

I think Let The Right one In (Swedish Original) was on Film 4, that is pretty scary, a bit disturbing in pats but one of the better modern efforts I have seen ( I don't really watch much horror though)

Apologies to any Munster fans- I'm having a whale of a time WUMming Sin. I just want to point out I think Penny is doing a decent job, except for O'Gara selections. Winding Sin up is just too satisfying. In other words, as tempting as it may be, don't feed me. or get me wet. Oh, thats a gremlin not a troll. Still..

The wife has seen a house for sale about 5 streets away from ours which she has fallen in love with. We went to see it yesterday and to be fair it would be ideal for us, the only stumbling block being that we are a little short of what we would need for a deposit. It might be doable if we can juggle some bits round and get another loan to cover the shortfall, just need to make soem enquiries with companies that do loans.
