With the trade deadline on Tuesday, here's some moves that are being banded about:-

Steven Jackson to the Packers
DeAngelo Williams to the Broncos
Dwayne Bowe to the Seahawks (has also be linked with the Dolphins and Jets)

Not sure what Bowe to the Seahawks would accomplish

Ive heard Steve Smith might be on the block for the Panthers too.

Can't see it, who's authorising the trades? If they can dump Williams I imagine they would, but I can't see Smith getting traded.

Also I'm not really sure we'll see any major moves. The Rams want rid of Steven Jackson but it seems kinda late for that to happen and the value for a RB with the wear Jacksons taken is p.low.

Is somebody really going to want to trade a 2nd for Bowe, a guy playing under a franchise tag now, would require tagging for a 2nd time at around 15m for 1 year if you can't sign him to a long term deal, and has a reputation of giving less than 100%

Also, who's going to want to inherit Williams' contract given his performances recently.

All good points. The Panthers season is over anyway and Smith and Williams are getting on. Williams has a huge contract but a few teams have serious problems at running back so he might garner some interest. We saw with vontae Davis in the preseason that desperate teams will pay up.

Jared Cook has requested trade from Titans. A top 5 TE in the NFL on any other team and will get 3rd round comp pick if he walks next year anyway. Unlikely he would be traded but so many teams will be interested, he is a first round talent so someone could offer a 2nd

Good move for Thomas, felt he could've been a pretty good #2/3 a couple of years back, but his progress was halted by bad QB play and 0 help outside MJD offensively.

Where did mid round pick come from? Terms of the deal are meant to be unknown, though do know they've dropped CB Justin Miller to add him.

Strange move in one sense... why take a nobody, even if Nate Burleson is out. They have Megatron, Titus Young and Ryan Broyles plus Brandon Pettigrew.

Because they need someone to do something on that team, so having managed about 2,000 yards receiving in Jacksonville and being their kick returner they may hope he can spark something.

Depending on what they have given up, it's an alright deal. They need a 4th WR, and he is pretty good on special teams isn't he?

Apparently it was a 5th rounder, not sure about pretty good but read he averages 10 yards on punt returns and has a TD.

Apparently Titans aren't interested in trading Cook, must be happy to let him go at the end of the season and get what will probably be a 3rd rounder comp pick, Steve Smith will play for the Panthers until they cut him, and all the rumours about Tebow being traded is rubbish, was simply in Jacksonville visiting his family.

Aqib Talib has been traded to the Patriots

Pats send a 4th in return for Talib and a 7th. Given hes suspended for a game, and is a FA in 2013, its a steep price.

The Pats now have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 2 7ths left in this years draft

Definately a win now policy from Belichek which is fair enough given Brady is getting on now. Be interesting to see how this pans out tbh

Guess New England will be extending Talib at some point which means they'll probably have saved a little bit of cap room than if they had added in FA plus they get him for the rest of the season which will help them out. Tampa I guess had to do it as keeping him the rest of the year wouldn't really have helped them at all (not like they're off to the Super Bowl) and he would have been a free agent and we don't know what comp pick they would have gotten. Though with Wright having an achilles injury and could be suspended for Adderall use too so they're going to be extremely thin at CB for the rest of this season.
