CMS is on around 10 grand (the wage Murray was offered) Kusczek is on the same as is Vicente. Gordon Greer is one of our lowest payed players on about 3 grand a week.
Dobbie was the highest paid player mate, now it is probably the big pole in the goal or Vicente

If that is true then your club should be turning over a ridiculous profit.
Do you have the financial figures or know where I can see the financial figures for Brighton last season or this?

Sadly not mate. But due to stupid fair play rulings and obviously it doesn't take a smart ass to know, were paying off our 105 million stadium. As well as funding a new training ground which is going to cost 30 million. So money is being well invested it into other areas, therefore the budget is hardly going to be amazing.

http://sussex.greatbritishlife.co.uk/article/interview-with-brighton-and-hove-albion-chairman-tony-bloom-35089/
"Bloom’s massive, unsecured, interest-free loans."
Bloom himself says;
“There’s a fairly easy explanation as to why I put the money in that I did. I’d been involved financially, albeit in a smaller way, for many, many years when Dick Knight was chairman.
“There was always going to be a certain amount of extra funding that the club needed in order to make the stadium a reality and I was always going to put in some money."
Don't go giving me paying off this stadium, because your stadium is completely paid for. I've literally typed it into google, and many results and articles confirming it have come up. Bloom quoted himself in them. You're speaking utter tripe

Away from Financial things, huge game at Barnsley tonight, but im not feeling confident.
For the Palace game on Sunday, some incredible news ahead of the game.
http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/10282054.Controversial_choice_to_referee_Albion_s_derby_clash_with_Palace/
Bluddy typical, the worst referee to ever referee a Brighton game is in charge for a huge derby game on Sunday. The only palace game he has referee'd and they win 4-0 where they had a penalty which was debatable
Cheers FA thanks a lot.

Re: The official "Brighton and Hove Albion to mid table mediocrity" thread
That sounded disgusting.
El-Abd mistake gifts Barnsley an undeserved lead 1-0.
Will Buckley misses 2 one on ones.
Ulloa scores great 1-1.
Barnsley get a penalty which sounded a complete joke, even the Barnsley manager looked shocked. 2-1
We miss a penalty.
Bruno comes of injured, Adam El-Abd suspended for Sunday with Bridge still injured. Palace are going to have a field day.
Play off charge is almost over

Gus Poyet. Doing ok. Big budget. But actually I think Brighton are underperforming given their budget and fanbase. Chelsea? Really?
Mark Rutherford@MarkyCTFC
@talksportdrive I've had to deal with @nick_davie telling me Brighton are paying minimal wages all season, despite 30k fans each home game!
talkSPORTDrive@talkSPORTDrive
@MarkyCTFC @nick_davie no way are they paying low wages. I know that for certain
Nick Davie@Nick_Davie

Re: The official "Brighton and Hove Albion to mid table mediocrity" thread
The real world answer is to take the job - you'll have money to spend that's actually your own, and instead of having a £9,000 debt after one year, you could have saved £2,000-£3,000 instead. Or bought a car. Or had a few holidays.NickisBHAFC wrote:I could get all angry about this, but im way too happy to care about football. Got the choice of Uni, or a 18 grand a year job next year!
So after three years at Uni, you'll be at least £27,000 in debt, while if you work and improve your skills, you could be on £25,000 plus by then with a promising career.
Having been to uni, I know which I'd choose. Work every time.

Re: The official "Brighton and Hove Albion to mid table mediocrity" thread
You dont have to pay the debt back till you earn a salary and even then it just comes out of your salary like NI and tax(so you only pay based on what you earn!).. Its free loans(inflation added only)
You will never get a chance to take that sort of loan options again!! trust me!
Offcourse the truth is Azzy is right. Getting a degree isnt the smartest option for many. You could be much better of with 3 years of experience.
But life isnt about work or a sensible option is it. Lifes about living.
Your only young once. Remember that..
I was lucky- I went to uni the last year before you had to pay for it. And I even got a grant!!(minimal but better than nothing!)
However I will admit that there is no way on gods earth that I would have been able to go to football games at that age.. The partys went on all night and football to me might as well have been sumo wrestling, for all i cared of it back then.
My advice If you go to uni.
Go to the other side of the country, forget about your life on here and your footy club. Go and have it large mate!!

Nick's playing the underdog role, despite everyone (except Nick) knowing they pay big wages and still barely make the playoffs. Upson, Bridge and Vicente will easily be on fortunes.
A source tells me Ulloa is actually on £15k P/W plus hotel bills. Much more than the £2k Nick claims.

I don't think anybody here genuinely believes Brighton are the underdog Marky. They are in comparison to Cardiff maybe, but with the squad, stadium, and manager at there disposal, the playoffs should be the target for an ambitious club.
To think there highest paid player is Dobbie on 15k P/W is a bit ludicrous though.

Re: The official "Brighton and Hove Albion to mid table mediocrity" thread
Im not biting.
Our budget is good enough to get the play offs yes. Better than the likes of Cardiff, Leicester, Forest, Blackburn, Bolton NO. That is my last comment on budget's because im getting tired of repeating the truth.
But tomorrow it does seem that Injury's and of course the ludicrous ref choice, is making it set up for another palace (Scum) win.
But i agree with what the palace fans were saying, i want a good game of 90 minutes of football and hope that idiot fans from both clubs don't wreck it like last time back in December.
