Ha!

Grand a week, don't make me laugh. Some Crawley players are on more than that, there's not a chance he's only on that money. First teamers easily on £10k+ per week MINIMUM.

Difference is, Palace due to their recent financial issues aren't paying big wages. Plus Selhurst is rarely close to full.

Brighton are bankrolled and have a brand new 30k capacity stadium that is regularly filled, not a chance they're paying players peanuts.

new owners seem to be very decent though..

And we have a great academy.. Futures decent for us. Its tough for us to gain the new fans they all end up supporting one of the top london clubs or even man u instead!

LOL he is rubbish Cherries, although he was our left back for the whole season when we won the league one title, he picked up an injury at the start of last season and has been half the player since then.

Even so, hope you guys can still go up OK

Well what a fantastic win, we have indeed fan our man. Leonardo Ulloa, superb performance from the big man up top, taking all 3 of his goals superbly well and getting his deserved MOTM performance.

The 1st half we completely battered Huddersfield and we took the deserved lead. We should of easily built on that but it wasn't to be, Neil Danns should of 100% been sent off for his horrible disgusting 2 footed lunge on Dean Hammond, but the ref only thought it was worthy of a yellow. Laughable. After his performance maybe Danns should stick to his music, and work on his failed one hit tune Laugh But then out of no where, James Vaughan scored a wonder goal to send the sides in at half time level.

2nd half it was looking like it was going to be same old story, not until Ulloa turned the magic on and netted his hatrick. Spanish Dave then kept up his goal scoring form and his 100% penalty record by netting after Huddersfield s defender took CMS out.

In short fantastic win, and it sets up nicely for 3 very difficult away games on the bounce, followed up by derby day in a couple of weeks time.

Apart from Palace, that was our worst performance of the season. There was just nothing, and if we weren't playing a side as bad as Bristol City, it would of been a long evening. However, with City bottom of the league and in need of a win and with an ok home record, point isn't bad.

Matt Upson and Adam El-Abd both had very good solid games, keeping yet another clean sheet. As well as the big pole in the goal, doing his usual high standard performance.

In short the performance was dreadful, and we didn't deserve a point. However positives to take, i found the best car park spot thinkable at 7:20pm, its another point on the board, still in the play offs and incredibly ahead of the likes of Forest, Bolton, Middlesbrough etc

Word to Craig Mackial Smith, really shame to see him come off injured and out for the season, no one likes to see that with any player around the country. Hopefully he is raring to go in pre season, till then a new striker is needed on loan. Ricardo Vaz Te, Simeon Jackson someone on those lines. Quick striker with goals, who has been there and done it in this division.

Finally word on Bristol City fans, despite having a drum laughing fair play to them, for signing there hearts out the whole game and getting right behind there club, who are in clear need of support. Credit the lot of them.

Where did you park?

The CMS injury seemed nasty, all the best to him.

However its been a while since City fans have felt that we should have won a game convincingly, S.O'D had his tactics dead on for how to stop Brighton, unfortunately they wern't to also win the game.

No idea, Hodge, but near the away end ish and by a burger van which was my dinner for the night, very tasty and reasonable price as well.

I think City might be able to stay up but it will be tricky, i couldn't understand why Adomah wasn't starting for you. I also feel you need a better striker, CMS would be perfect for you, to play with Jon Stead.

Also i love how the palace fans are laughing on twitter, quick reminder of the score

Well we also beat Cardiff 4-2 and Boro away 3-1 I think.

We do have better strikers, however they don't fit in a 451, Sam Baldock and Steven Davies. Adomah didn't start as S.O'D goes with organisation and rigidity it looks like, Adomah doesn't track back much after a run and isn't a great help in defensive covering, where Anderson does his fair share.

Very tough game away at Bolton today, the difference of size between the club's was always going to be interesting, but it sounds very similar to our game at the AMEX in November, where we batter them and don't take our chances. Difference this time is, we actually lost!

Huge game on Tuesday night away at Barnsley, which will be tough. Keep the blue flag flying high!

Glenn Murray left Brighton for Palace because he wanted to leave Brighton, not because Palace offered him more money. He left a side recently promoted from League 1 to a more established Championship side. Admittedly Brighton are much closer to Palace now but you can't honestly pretend Brighton are these poor penny pinchers from East Sussex, when they play in a brand new 30k capacity stadium which brings much more capital than most of the Championship.

It's borderline delusion Nick, Brighton are hardly spending megabucks but they are still spending a lot more than you believe/admit.

Compared to the clubs bankrolled by billionaires (Cardiff/Leicester/Forest to a degree), yes Brighton don't have that much cash. But a lot of Championship clubs can't afford a cut of Wayne Bridges wages, nor spend 2m on a striker in Jan.

Wayne Bridge i believe we are paying a max 10% of his wages which is taking up a huge chunk of our wage bill. Stephen Dobbie was our highest payed player on 15 grand a week i believe, but thankfully he is off the wage bill as clearly he was a waste of wage siting in the stands week in week out.

Yes Ulloa cost 2 million but his wage per week is 1-2 grand a week.

A budget isn't about transfer fee's it also about wages which is the main part of a budget.

We offered Murray a max offer of around 10 grand a week, he rejected took palaces 20 grand a week. Can't blaim him your only a footballer once.

None the less huge game at Barnsley tomorrow night.

So Brighton's highest paid player, is Stephen Dobbie?

Not CMS, not Vicente, not Kusczek (however you spell it lol), not the club captain Gordan Greer, but Stephen Dobbie who has been sent on loan to Palace?
