The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to Hopetoun House, Edinburgh - where the Management Team for the 2013 British & Irish Lions tour party to Australia was announced.
“This is the next chapter in the 2013 tour story," said tour manager Andy Irvine.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Warren Gatland,
Andy Farrell, Shaun Edwards, Kiwi Pete's Grandfather, Rava, Rodders, Andy Irvine, Graham Rowntree, Dr James Robson,
Paul Stridgeon, Kip Keino, Baggage Master Patrick O’Reilly and Lawyer Max Duthie above the bar.

Glas
I'm back on 'the manor' and there's no feicer about. Well, no one interesting.
Oi PJ - your Bath are up next for Wasps. Hoping it's a good game next Sunday - there should be some tries scored if the weather is kind
Before that Ealing take on Macclesfield (from swanny country) on Saturday.
Nice, I can enjoy two 'home' games on Sat & Sun now, without worrying about how I feel on a Monday morning.

Hound, I wouldn't count on Bath scoring any bud, the way they've been playing they'll need help finding the Rec, the tryline Will be beyond them I fear.
Is it televised? I can't go I'm having an away weekend already in Jan.
Other news just in, I've just done Audrey Hepburns hair. #mincesoff

Apologies PJ - our TV guru has corrected me . As it is a 3pm k.o. I assumed the game wasn't televised; the televised games are normally not at 3pm.

Pete, love you man.
Yep Hound, sketched out 3 this morning and I'm now chilling with a brush and a Moscow Mule, happy feckin Christmas to me. Love it.
Let me know if you want one mate, but it'll be a couple of months though I've got to work through 4 others first.
Fancy an Einstein?
Glas, how's Sooty?

Entertaining enough if you ignore some of the modern police show staples shoe horned into it, notwithstanding the historical context. There was one very annoying line in the climax. I won't spoil it for you though, worth a look.

It's set after the Ripper and doesn't claim to be based on true events, so no, probably not one for historical purists. Gets a bit far fetched in places.

I got my painting from PJ about a month ago, it is a sketch of Juan Smith, came out awesome and although it took a bit a time to get to SA (about six weeks) it looks awesome in my office.

Happy New Year! adios 2012
Fireworks are pretty good. Getting quite used to it all since the Bicentenary in '88... so 25 years now of pretty much the same thing.
Quite loud. Can see the top of it all and hear the boom-boom-boom. The shower of fire is now dripping off the Bridge.
Reminds me of a toothbrush for some reason.
Have a great 2013 everyone!!

Cheers Swanny.
Yeah, it's hard to get too surprised each year. We get them about every 2 months on a smaller scale... for whatever reason... festivals, etc.

I'll join you Bryn. Just poured a large pint... Cooper's Extra Strong 'Vintage' Ale. It has a heavy, robust malt taste.

A converted try, but as usual it's followed by a stupid penalty. Thankfully Prydie kicked it miles away from the posts.

Passive touchjudging again. I wish we had a dog in our pack who would assist opposition players to roll away though.
Ospreys should win this by ten or so, but we are doing ok. Maybe Robling to kick now though.

I'm not sure the margin would be that wide Rev. Os giving away too many penalties at the moment...and Dan Biggar is intimidated at Dave again. I did chuckle at Jon Evans getting a row off Nigel for telling him how to do his job. He hates it when players do that.
