Bath have signed Martin Roberts and Micky Young, two shrewd league scrumhalfs there. Not bad players.

Between him and Jenkins, Gats wants to give the Aussie scrum a rare chance at supremacy so the world can really see what the Australian 6-15 can do in an even match. He feels the world deserves it

I expected it, the omissions are galling but not unexpected (and I find the omissions of Brown, Grant etc even more bizarre) . It's the utterly typical Gatland's Wales-ness of the squad, I don't think a team like that is physically capable of beating a half-decent Aussie side

Brown and Grant were big ones for me. Did Heaslip get on the plane from just one performance? Because I would rathered Beattie or even Morgan as the back up 8.

Don't usually do it but figured when one's whining for the day involves the fact that the wrong British people were picked to tour Australia and you got beaten on a text-based online sports game then one should acknowledge the ridiculousness of doing so

will we start the new season when it comes, if we still havent filled the roles, and continue with care-takers...or do we HAVE to fill the spots?

Not sure what Pooly would say but I'd rather have most of them filled. One spot can be free but, can't really keep going as we are

With the end of the domestic season and after a titanic scrap for the final play-off spot, congratulations too; Tiger, Saints, Bath and Quins who just survived the run in, with Prop's typical late season charge just falling short by one point!
Furthermore commiserations to CF/Wasps. I will have a chat with Pooly to discuss something about who you might be next season!
Anyhow, the thread for the play-offs will be up shortly!

Depressing for CJ and I, but well done to Driver and Prop securing Heino next year.
I'm standing by my prediction that next year one of the bottom six will win the Amlin, look at the final already for this year!

Time for some opinions please boys. Bold players are starters and probably untouchables, but where should I look towards strengthening for next season?

Prob your weakest positions. Not bad players though by a long shot.
A bit of class in midfield would be first I think

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
I would say, a fullback/wing. As Lambie is considered more at 10 for Sharks and SA. That or maybe a back up centre or scrum half, with Tindall and yach close to retirement.
Savage is a good six and can see him doing well next year.

CJ I would say when you have you starting pack out its great. Slight issue at TH but that will develop, as will some of your pack. For me a new ten to come in and take over/help develop Barrett. Or maybe a classy 12 to compliment Smith, but that depends on EQ obviuously

Last year, Fluxy got to make a combination team of some of his players and some of the promoted team's players. He also was able to get his new team to 8th in the League, so you can do a lot with that mixture! If you want advice on who to keep from each, happy to give input
