First topic message reminder :
We are less than 30 days from the BIG one. This years RBS Six Nations 2013 is one of the most anticipated in Years. What will these ferocious battles hold? How will this dangerous concoction unfold? Discuss.

February 3: Italy v France, 3pm
February 9: Scotland v Italy, 2.30pm and France v Wales, 5pm

The six nation trophy neutral ribbons are dark blue.
Sad for the Scottish, it in effect says no one will confuse this trophy as Scotlands with it ribbons matching their kit. Because Scotland won't get near it.

I agree. Dean Ryan will make a big difference to the pack. Scott Johnson has been a GS winning coach before, he knows what a team has to do.

I'm going in to Cardiff for the Ireland game with a few others, an Irish friend is coming up from London for it too. None of us have tickets, but it'll be a great day all the same.

That takes some guts, Telfer was made of concrete.
Wallace was a very tough player. Intelligent for a prop too.

It's the most wonderful time, of the yeeeeeeear!
I love the Six Nations. Even when it's looking bleak for Wales, I enjoy the pain and spectacle of it all. I'm nervous about the Welsh chances this year (typical post GS nerves) and excited about the others. I'm also hoping that the BBC will get Tommy Bowe out of injury and get him to do some punditry...well they used him in 2011

If you just look up the thread Feckless has given a similar score. Lots of people on here reading too much into the AI's. Ireland IMO are not that strong a side - Their pack is average and they have very few settled backs in the side. If Wales get the platform I expect them to get then i think they will win with something to spare. That's just my opinion of course. I expect Biggar to set the backs going and Leinsters fans in particular now a lot about Biggar. With Adam Jones anchoring the front row alongside Hibbard we have a lot of power there. The 2nd row remains a concern but with the recent acquisition of Ollie Kohn this may turn out to be a hugely powerful set of forwards in front of a destuctive set of backs. Its just the way I see it. Don't be fooled by an injury ravaged welsh side in the AI's, this will be very very different and I expect Wales to get their 4th win in a row against the men in green. Bowe and OConnell are huge losses
