Munster v Racing
Well it comes down to the wire as it always does with Munster. The heart is still pounding after watching the Leinster Chiefs match. A complete roller coaster where it looked like Leinster would score a bucket loads of tries but in fairness somehow dug in and really put it up to Leinster right up until the end. Credit and respect.
Chiefs are my favourite non Irish team
Now its over to Munster. BP win all but guarantees QF spot (barring mad result in Tigers match) and in the process knock Leinster out. If we cant get this BP we have no place in the QFs. If we do, the young talent we have coming through can only benefit from playing at this top level.
So there you have it no pressure them.
COME ON MUNSTER - TO THE BRAVE AND THE FAITHFUL

As a neutral Ulster fan I'll be routing for Munster same as I was routing for Leinster today - I don't care which goes through just glad Ulster won't be the only Irish representation in the knockouts.

Re: Munster v Racing
It's in our hands, we knew we had to get a TBP at least going into this game and knowing the Leinster result, we know that we need 4 tries and nothing more, a bit of patience is required in the first 20 I think.
We can do it I think, it's a weak enough Racing side with nothing to play for.

I may have a new battle cry for Munster if Stand up and Fight loses some of its pizazz (it's a word)

To be honest this game will be a close call. My Heart says Munster my head says Racing.
With regards to the Leicester v Toulose game. I would love Tigers too win especialy at home, however i do think that Toulose will be to clinical for Leicester and win by at least 10 points.

You should go to the bookies then as Paddy Power are giving Racing odds of 18/1 which is pretty unheard of for any team that isn't Italian. Munster 1/50 favourites.

Is this the match thread? The teams, venue, officials aren't even posted for others to see.

Re: Munster v Racing
The biggest boost Munster got this week was ROGs suspension. I was hoping he'd get longer although 1 week is about right. Keatley offers a great try scoring threat and JJ Hanrahan comes onto the bench which gives them another center option.
Theres conflicting reports about the weather. Hopefully its not too bad but if it is I fancy the Munster pack to help grind out the tries.
Of course even if Munster get the bonus point win it still might not be enough.

Re: Munster v Racing
It was always going to end up with Munster needing a TBP win to go through. I am just not sure if Munster have enough fire power to score 4 try's against Racing even if it is a somewhat weakend side.
The only plus i can see is that ROG iwont be there...

Looks on then with most of the game with an extra man.
I suppose Sarries have to win though or Leinster might still do it?
