Demba Ba has turned into a cheating scum bag. Chelsea chiefs obviously want to promote a diving culture as he never behaved like this at Newcastle.

I've been kicked in the chest playing in goal numerous times. Never rolled around on the floor like that.
Hazard shouldn't have kicked him, ball boy shouldn't have been a pillock

Agree, never a red card but Hazard should try and act like the adult.

You also can't prevent the ball being returned to play.

He's allowed to retrieve the ball, ironically the ball boys aren't meant to go near the players if they go to retrieve the ball, never mind obstructing them from getting the ball.

It is a red but the ball boy shouldn't have had a little lie down on top of the ball.
Even though I grew up a Chelsea fan I have to say that Swansea are fast becoming the side o enjoy watching the most in the prem.

If a player had been lying on the ball like that and it was poked free in such a manner it wouldn't have even been a foul.
Had the lad just stood up the goal kick just would have been taken and play would have continued.
It's an absolute joke, backs against the wall? Just have your ball boy take a dive...

He kicked the ball, it came out the other side- you really think he just swung a boot at him?
The lad was barely brushed, pathetic.

He didn't kick the bit, he kicked the ball.
As usual the mincer brigade are out to try and justify the little runt feigning injury. The lad needs to thank his drama teacher tomorrow.

Hills don't mess about. They've already opened a market on that red card being rescinded.

Really what should have happened is extra injury time added on and the lad not being asked back. Instead he rolls about, gets hazard sent off and gets his 15 minutes of fame.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread part 3
It's not naivety, Chelsea had noticed all the ballboys were very slow to return the ball, so they decided to do it themselves - players aren't meant to be challenged when retrieving the ball - never mind prevented from returning it to play.
Really quite shameful ploy from Swansea.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread part 3
This happens all over the world with ballboys, it's no new thing. They are probably briefed about when and when not to throw the ball back abruptly. I've no sympathy for Chelsea whatsoever.
A Bradford/Swansea final is a result for football. A team actually earning a trophy instead of buying one.

He did get up and they threw punches at each other. Also he fly kicked him in the chest not prodded a ball out from under him.
Perspective?

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread part 3
In Hazard's defense, he was trying to get the ball to try and speed up the game. But, you cannot go around kicking anyone, let alone a child. Yes, the ball boy was being an idiot and just wanted to be famous, and now he is, but as I said, you cannot kick a child. Chelsea were probably not going to win anyway, and the rules state that violent conduct is on anyone ; teammates, opposition or anyone. The boy was being a t***, but Hazard has no excuse.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread part 3
I've just seen it on Sky News, ridiculous incident. Some people claiming it was a full kick to the ribs are delusional. There is absolutely no intent to harm the stupid kid at all and if anything just kicks the ball away from under him. Comparing it to Cantona is like chalk and cheese, although Hazard should of known better and should have just got the referees attention but in the heat of the moment and time running out that was never going to happen. Slap on the wrist for Hazard and a three game ban. The kid should never work for Swansea again.

He aimed a kick in the direction of the lad...The crowd/players are supposed to know If it hit the ball or not???
Lucky he didn't get lynched by fans...
Carragher got hit by a coin and threw it back and got sent off..
It's called incitement...
It was wrong....he'll get banned....Now all you disappointed Chelsea fans..grow up!!

Throwing a coin indiscriminately at fans is bordering on assault, he was lucky not to get a life time ban for that.
Hardly the same as poking the ball out, the fans behind the goal were clapping so were either Chelsea fans or didnt notice.

Indeed they are GSC, just like the ones defending the ballboy by saying "he's not supposed to give them the ball", when that is exactly what he is there for, not to try and make a name for himself by being a cretin.
Where will it end if the ballboy is allowed to obstruct the game like that?

You couldn't script it... apparently the ball boy's dad is Martin Morgan who owns Morgans Hotel. Where are Chelsea staying tonight? Superb!
If that's true this is truly spooky
