Wolfhounds v Saxons
First topic message reminder :
Sportsground in Galway Friday night.
Anyone else going?
Went to the last one 2 years ago in Ravenhill and had great crack. Fock all people there though. Probably the same this time or worse.
Cheap night out though. Hour and a half drive from Dublin. Cheap B&B.

Can you not get RTE on the box? Links are unreliable at the best of time, especially for stupid games like this, I'm having to pay a f**kload to get the Six Nations over here as I'm not willing to rely on the worthless internet.

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Ireland just had a scrum 5m from English line, turned over by England as irish scrum got decimated on bents side, ooh nearly a chargedown by Cave
Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
This is so frustrating! I can normally find a stream for ANY event, but not this. It's like they've throw a fortress around the game!

Can't get any of my usual links to work either, does anyone know a radio station doing commentary?

I've been trying as well. Lot of links up, but none of them load a picture or even sound.

Its due to it being solely on RTE, it means GAA is hard to get in the summer as well because its only on in Ireland.

I give up RTE identifying my ip address as in GB so getting the international version of the site.
Any score updates?

I suspect Deccie Fitzpatrick will be on second half, bent getting destroyed in the scrum, mn I hope Ross don't get injured in 6 nations

Fitz is a good second choice if he can stay fit. Big if mind.

The irfu twitter keeps saying that the wolfhounds are putting pressure on the Saxons scrum.

I take it they mean pressure on the English lads not to burst their holes laughing.

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
They are getting minced up front Vet absolutely minced, Bent is under serious pressure although I suspect the whole front isn't entirely innocent
Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
I bet whoever called for Bent to start ahead of Ross is feeling pretty stupid now.neilthom7 wrote:I suspect Deccie Fitzpatrick will be on second half, bent getting destroyed in the scrum, mn I hope Ross don't get injured in 6 nations

I know I get stick from my fellow Ulster fans for saying this, but I just don't rate Marshall at all, he isn't all that.
Hearing that Toner has given away a few stupid penalties?
Edit; Hows Trimble playing? I want him to start against Wales.

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
I just hope they bring on Fitz with court as court would be wasted in that front row.
Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
He has Val and I rate Marshall but his passing has always been hit or miss, for me he is a better sub to inject pace etc with bout 20 mins

That wasn't nasty at all!

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Thats a very nasty elbow on Paul Marshall should have been a yellow but the ref didn't have the English number lucky boy. Jackson knock over the pen 10-0

I actually think Michael Heany is a better prospect as he plays the same style as marshal but seems to have a bit of something extra.

Wasn't very nasty at all! Should of been a yellow though.

How is that not a pen for a deliberate knock on?

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Bad times Rodders, scrum decimated again Trimble nearly made the intercept but couldn't hold on, england have a scrum now though not far from Ireland line
Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Stick Marshall in at tight head!

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Suddenly signing mike Ross up for another two years at Leinster is looking like a very shrewd move.

Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
Penalty for Offside against Saxons, scrum in trouble and Nathan only being able to get one hand on it does not make it a deliberate knock on
Re: Wolfhounds v Saxons
I knew he was having a rough start at Leinster but I didn't think bent was this poor.
