Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
First topic message reminder :
Managers may make 5 FT enquiries per week, starting at 0900 every Monday morning. The exception to this will be the end of the season, where additional FT enquiries will be granted.
FT enquiries, once made, can continue throughout the week until a deal is agreed. If however a FT enquiry is refused, please do not re-bid – a refusal will not be reconsidered regardless of the bid amount.
FT enquiries should be realistic, therefore we require a legitimate source – the more the merrier – to be convinced that your bid would be successful in real life. The current legitimate source list is currently as follows:
The Guardian
The Telegraph
The Times
Daily Mail
BBC Sport
Sky Sports
The current list of sources NOT accepted is currently: The Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express, Talksport, Daily Star, Metro, Bleacher Report, Trival Football, Caught Offside, Goal, Life’s a Pitch
No players brought in on a Friday may be used for that week’s tactics, as it would allow an unfair advantage for that team.
Players that are brought into the league through FTs are not allowed to be sold within the league for a minimum of 6 league games. This will avoid managers buying players on behalf of ‘smaller’ clubs, then selling them on, leaving a player at a club he would never have agreed to join.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Marc Muniesa - 1m loan – Barcelona to Stoke - £2.5m required, it wouldn’t happen normally but remaining consistent with the other Barca loanees in this league.
Tasci + Molinaro - £12m – Stuttgart to Fulham – NO. Tasci has been linked with much bigger clubs, Stuttgart are pushing for European Football and while both are first team players, Stuttgart could be tempted to let Molinaro go on his own for £6m in a separate new bid.
Sigurdsson - £6.8m – Tottenham to Fulham – NO, Sigurdsson is playing regularly at the moment and while his Spurs career got off to a stuttering start, he is just finding form playing at LM with Bale at AM.
Matheiu - £6m – Valencia to Fulham - £9m required
Owen Hargreaves - £0 - Free Agent to Reading – YES, although he must start in 4 games between now and the end of the season or he can leave on a free.
Frank Lampard - £5m - Chelsea to Swansea – NO, Lampard is only a few goals short of the all time Chelsea goalscoring record, and there’s no way he’d give up on that before the summer.
Daniele Gastaldello - £5.5m - Sampdoria to Swansea - More money, he recently made the Italian squad so Sampdoria want £7m to let him leave.
Jose Antonio Reyes - £6.5m - Sevilla to Sunderland – NO, Reyes is settled in Spain and Sevilla wouldn’t want to let one of their best players leave.
Alessandro Nesta - £750k - Montreal Impact to Sunderland – NO, Nesta moved over there to retire, I highly doubt he’d move clubs one more time.
Carlo Cudicini - £500k - Los Angeles Galaxy to Sunderland - YES
Piotr Trochowski - £3m - Sevilla to Sunderland - £6m required
Carl Jenkinson - £8.5m - Arsenal to Sunderland – NO, after his blinding performance v Bayern I think it’s very unlikely Arsenal would let him leave, especially when Sagna’s form has been average at best.
Ramsay - Arsenal to Wigan - Loan fee - £5 million - Future fee of £7.5 million – NO, despite him not being good enough, he is still a first team player.
Alex Song - Barcelona to Wigan - Loan fee - £10 million - Future fee of a further £5 million – NO, Song wouldn’t go to Wigan. Harsh but that’s how it is.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Sorry Trebs, as per the response, your £6m for Molinaro was your fifth bid of the week. You combined two bids for two Stuttgart players, the answer was no but encouraged you to rebid £6m for Molinaro separately. Fucile will have to wait.

Ignasi Miquel
Arsenal reserves to Aston Villa
£1.5m
Ignasi hasn't been given any real chances by Arsene Wenger and is seen as below Squillaci in Arsenal's first team squad. We would offer Ignasi the chance to push for a starting berth and also compensate Arsenal with the transfer fee.

Virgil Van Dijk - 3 Million
FC Groningen to West Ham
http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/groningen-reveal-five-premier-league-clubs-want-virgil-van-dijk-3771181
Has attracted a lot of interest in England. He is a current Holland under 21 and has been tipped to become a Holland international soon. FC Groningen speak very highly of him as did Gus Poyet who wanted to sign him. We would offer him first team football and allow him to learn from experince duo James Collins and Winston Reid about the English game. We believe he can become a star and doing so can become a West Ham Legend.

Juan Jesus
Inter Milan to QPR
Season long loan
Very promising talent off the inter milan youth conveyor belt. Showed some good signs this seaosn of what he's capable of but is not a 1st team regular. Would be here at QPR and would be a great benefit to his development in a league which is fast and furious.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Sunderland (1 and 2/5):
1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Saint-Etienne to Sunderland, £12m
Reason: He's looking very likely to leave in the summer - the link below shows that Newcastle are interested in him, and that Chelsea have scouted him - we offer him the move to the world's best league, in a competent team that would supply him well, and give Saint-Etienne a good fee for his services.
Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2291874/Chelsea-scout-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang.html
2. Kolo Toure, Manchester City to Sunderland, £5m
Reason: Toure has been in and out of the struggling City side this season, and they are looking to make big changes this summer. £5m gives them a return on their investment, while giving Kolo the chance to be #1 CB for a big club. At this stage of his career he'll be looking to play every week.

Reading (Bid: 1/5)
William Vainqueur
Standard Liege To Reading
Fee: £3 Million
Reason: This balling winning midfielder has been linked with potential moves to various English teams throughout January after falling out with the Standard Liege manager. We're willing to stump up the cash upfront and offer first team football.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Sunderland (3, 4 and 5/5):
3. Thomas Kaminski, Anderlecht to Sunderland, £2.5m
Reason: A young and talented goalie that does not get any playing time (and thus, development) at Anderlecht. He'd join his compatriot Mignolet at the club and contest for the keeper's gloves.
4. Maxime Lestienne, Club Brugge to Sunderland, £3.5m
Reason: He's a young and talented winger with a lot to prove - we'll give him that chance. Everton were keen when he was 17 and available on a free; we're giving Brugge a good fee for the lad.
Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1239547/Everton-boss-David-Moyes-set-Maxime-Lestienne-club-Preston-eye-Sean-ODriscoll.html
5. Jordan Lukaku, Anderlecht to Sunderland, £2.5m
Reason: Another young and talented player who we see as ideal for our club moving forward. His brother is already in this country on loan at West Brom, and we feel he'd be ideal for the Premier League. Anderlecht get a good fee for him too.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Aston Villa
Ignasi Miquel – NO - Regarded a big prospect at Arsenal. Would be interested in a Loan Move providing you can supply first team football, and to show faith as to start his first game.
Fulham
Molinaro - YES
West Ham
Virgil Van Dijk – YES
QPR
Juan Jesus – NO, Has played 22 of 29 League Games this season
Sunderland
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Saint-Etienne to Sunderland, £12m - NO: Fair Price, but linked with better sides such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City
Kolo Toure, Manchester City to Sunderland, £5m - NOT RIGHT NOW: Played half of City's games in the league this season who have yet to settle on a regular backline. Has hinted at leaving at the end of the season so the timing just isn't right, right now. Plus, with Lescott out on loan in this league, City wouldn’t let Toure go until Lescott’s loan spell has ended.
Thomas Kaminski, Anderlecht to Sunderland, £2.5m - YES
Jordan Lukaku, Anderlecht to Sunderland, £2.5m - YES
Maxime Lestienne, Club Brugge to Sunderland, £3.5m - Fee of 5 Million is required. Club need the money with him being one of their prized assests

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Aston Villa
1/5
Michael Bradley
£6m
AS Roma to Aston Villa
Michael was on loan at Villa 2 years ago, made a good impression and seemed to like English football, however then manager Alex McLeish decided not to sign Michael permanently. We want to bring Michael back to Villa Park on a permanent deal, with Roma receiving a very good fee for their player.
2/5
Anderson
£10m
Manchester United to Aston Villa
Anderson has been consistently reported to be leaving Old Trafford, we would be offering Anderson the chance to prove he does belong in the Premier League while offering United a decent percentage back of the big fee he commanded when leaving Porto.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Bruno Alves - £8m
Zenit to Fulham
A massive offer for the 31 year old who would be our key man at the back. The Russian league is not as strong as the Premier League and this would be a chance for the player to finally play in a big league which he has yet to do. Zenit are not in the Champions League places and have yet to achieve anything big yet.
Jorge Fucile - Free
As explained last week, he is a free agent.
Alan - £4m
Braga to Fulham
The player had some impact in the Champions League this season but hasn't been linked to any big clubs. At his age, this could be the last chance for the veteran to move outside of Portugal.

TP1: Roberto Soriano

Soriano is currently playing at a club that isnt really going anywhere...Swansea are a side on the up and going places..he will play in a side thats trying to play free-flowing attacking football. Also £3.5m is double what he's worth.

Reading (Bid: 2/5)
Sylvain Marveaux
£1.5m Loan Fee - End of the Season.
Reason: Restricted to just 29 appearances in 2 seasons at Newcastle, with injury, form and competition limiting his playing time. He's also openly talked about leaving on loan in January in order to gain first team football. We're provided to show faith in him.

Raul Albiol
Real Madrid to QPR
7m
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/raul-albiol/profil/spieler_15452.html
Falling way down the pecking order at Madrid with Pepe, Ramos and the mergence of Varane all limiting his chances of playing on a regular basis. He's too good a player to be sitting on the bench and at 27 is heading towards his peak playing years. We'll be offering first team football here at QPR.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Aston Villa
Michael Bradley Roma, 6 Million
YES: Roma have plenty of cover with Michael only being involved in less 15 of the 29 league games there this season. Enjoyed playing in the UK and with Aston Villa.
Anderson, Man Utd, 10 Million
NOT NOW: With question marks hanging over the likes of Scholes and Fletcher regarding their futures and both missing from the first time, Anderson will be getting some game time in the coming weeks. Maybe when his future is crystal clear in the summer.
Fulham
Bruno Alves, Zenit, 8 Million
NO: Fair fee, but Bruno is happy to continue playing on in Russia. He's playing regularly and gets games in Europe every season. Has been linked with bigger sides such as Atletico Madrid & Juventus.
Jorge Fucile, Free Agent, £0
YES: Must start 3 of the remaining Games to extend his contract into next season
Alan, Braga, 4 Million
NO: Happy and settled playing in Portugal. Getting regular game time and has played in Europe this season with them looking odds on to get into Europe again this season. (This was a very hard one)
Swansea
Roberto Soriano, Sampdoria, 3.5 Million
MORE MONEY: Under 21 international who has had Chelsea scouts looking at him when Roberto Di Matteo was in charge although the links have settled since. Sampdoria are not in a position to sell their better players so a fee of 6 Million minimum, with a buy out clause of 11 Million.
Reading
Sylvain Marveaux, Newcastle, loan £1.5m
YES: Must play a part in every game (injuries permitting) or loan is cancelled. Seeing as he only wants to go on loan to get game time.

Steven caulker
QPR to spurs
Season long loan
Like to give him the chance to continue his development here and it's clear to see what good the loan to Swansea did for him. He would be given first team football and spurs have cover with Dawson, gallas, vertonghen and Kaboul to come back.

Bid 3/5
Emilio Izaguirre
Celtic to Aston Villa
£4.5m
With Celtic now out of Europe and the SPL all but wrapped up, we feel now is the time to make our move. Emilio is clearly too good for the SPL, he would be given plenty of game time for us as fullback is seen as a problem position for us and we feel Emilio would be ideal for us. Celtic have their natural replacement for Emilio in Charlie Mulgrew, and would be receiving a decent fee for their player.
Bid 4/5
Efe Ambrose
Celtic to Aston Villa
£2.5m
To come in and bolster our defence, Efe was seen by many as the scapegoat for Celtic's recent exit from the Champions League, and this link ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2289367/Efe-Ambrose-misses-Celtics-team-buis-final-practice-Juventus-defeat.html ) shows Efe isn't exactly settled in Glasgow. Our offer gives Celtic a quick profit on a player they only signed in August.
Bid 5/5
Abdul Razak
Manchester City to Aston Villa
£2m
Abdul is a decent prospect for Man City, and has made the odd appearance in the first team, however with news that City are set to splash out once again this summer to add even more players to the squad ( http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/8467112/Transfer-news-Manchester-City-boss-Roberto-Mancini-drawing-up-summer-transfer-plans ), the Ivorian is once again set to be frozen out by Roberto Mancini. We would offer Abdul a place in our first team squad where he will get opportunities and the fee would be substantial compensation for City for their youth player leaving.

£10 million
Sporting Lisbon to Norwich
Sporting have got some financial issues and have just signed his replacement without offloading him in January. We are prepared to offer him Premier League football and Sporting a very large sum for his services. To entice the player we will add a release clause of £17.5 million so that he will be able to move onto a bigger club

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
It does apply to anyone as it doesn't state who can buy him.
Whereas Jores Okore can only leave Villa for a "bigger club".

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Christian Erikson
Ajax to West Brom
£17m
He is going to need to get out of the Dutch league to further his career to live up to the hype. The Premiership has a good standard of football to help prove his potential. He's guaranteed first team football and playing in his favoured position. We are aware he Has been linked with spurs and Liverpool which obviously goes against us but both spurs and Liverpool have recently brought in the likes of Holtby and Countinho, especially as they were so cheap in football terms and don't think they'd want to match our bid.

Not sure whether spurs, unless selling, could afford him especially after releasing a club loss of £4.3m for last season. Personally see them searching for a defensive midfield and a striker in the summer. Also with Bale playing as AM in recent games I don't see Erikson getting in the first team.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
QPR
Steven Caulker, Season Long Loan, Spurs
NO: He's played in over half of spurs games this season. They've already sold Gallas and still have something to play for
in Europe which which means more rotation and more game time.
Aston Villa
Emilio Izaguirre, 4.5m, Celtic
NEG: Has been linked with various English sides in the past including Manchester United & Norwich, all of which have
offered higher money. Celtic are in no position to sell their better players so a fee of 6 Million is required.
Efe Ambrose, 2.5, Celtic
No: Although again linked with various English teams, Celtic have insisted that they will not sell for anything less than
6 Million. Celtic aren't willing to let Efe to talk to other teams while Emilo's future isn't clear yet.
Abdul Razak, 2m, Man City
NEG: Highly regarded by City's staff, although he's yet to forfill his potential they still hope that he'll step up to the first team. With an uncertian summer ahead, City would be open to loaning him to Villa until the end of the season regardless of how many starts he gets for a fee of 500K
Southampton
Southampton, 12 Million, Celtic
YES: Gary's wanted a move back onto English soil and wants a crack at the premier league. Southampton meet the agreed fee Celtic would only part Gary Hooper for.
Radja Nainggolan, 9 Million, Calgari
NO: Linked with some of the top teams in Europe. With a transfer market fee of 11 Million to begin with, Calgari will only open discussion if a fee of 19 Million can be agreed.
West Brom
Christian Erikson, 17 Million, Ajax
NO: Linked with better sides with Liverpool and Spurs to begin with. Both Manchester clubs and clubs from all over Europe are also monitoring the situation closely.
