First topic message reminder :
Carry on your bickering here.
I was going to summarise the previous thread, but going through a thousand posts and ultimately it ends on goats, sheep on your 18th brithday that hangs around longer than strippers doesn't say much for the rest of the content.
Enjoy.

Teeside generally. Last one out, flush the toilet.
Some places have the geographical misfortune to have been the centre of industry, and suffered worse deprivations once the industries were hamstrung by the unions/closed by Gov't policy. Delete as appropriate.
Wales (Cardiff* especially) has done quite well since, but Teeside is a festering dump.
* I've had some great rugby weekends in Cardiff. None of them involving England
Talk to a Welsh rugby fan about club rugby, and you'll talk for hours; and will learn a lot too.
Sorry, this post is probably going against the grain of this thread.

There once was a guy called Rob
After round 1 we called him a knob
Then Wales in France
And in Rome they did dance
And now we no longer do sob!
On a serious note, Wales deserve nothing after the opening 45 mins v Ireland. If we finish 2nd or even 3rd, I will be very happy.

It's amazing how quickly fortunes can change in this tournament. After the first round, Ireland were man sausage-a-hoop and we were looking at the wooden spoon. And with two rounds still to be played, we could still end up with only two wins from five.

Can't believe Viewyothegym has quit - we're not that lucky and he enjoys his WUM's far too much. I imagine he'll be back - first one to spot his new identity gets Trollmaster general badge.
And saying it's Morg doesn't count.

Funnily enough, man sausage is how quite a few Irish posters would describe Declan Kidney at the minute.

Never fear, Morg and Beefy more than make up for his absence, they're like a very 'special' tag team...

That almost makes me want to go on a swearing spree to see what other changes there are. But that would be acting like a Frak Holly Wilaboobie. Now we know that we have to be careful when talking about man sausage size, but what if we use standard dictionary word's like Winkle?

Where's the passport office in Wales? I had to go there once to, um, well, get a passport... anyway, now that was a dump, there were people hanging around the half derelict shopping area drunk - it was like 1030 in the morning.
I agree with others, Aldershot is pretty bad. But you have to remember, it only existed to be a garrison, the civilian population and housing was purely incidental to it. Now the garrison has all but gone, so has the heart of the town. Farnborough is also a dump.
Luton is really, really bad.

The Wreck is situate in a most beautiful surrounding by the banks of the Avon, below Pulteney Bridge, among the sweeping Georgian terraces.
Arguably the most picturesque ground in the AP maybe UK.
The ground & facilities just feel a bit of a tatty amateur throwback. I appreciate the planning difficulties in developing this iconic ground up to the standard, say, of Kingsholm, Worcester or The Stoop to name but three.

When my sister was in uni in Bath we went up to visit her, and wandered down by the river, and one of the fire-escapes (or something) was open to the Rec, I remember thinking how weird it was being placed there, as it didn't stand out or anything. I guess the problem with Bath is the area is so bleeding historic and posh that it makes progress kinda hard. After all didn't they refuse to have a Woolworths there as it would lower the image?

Scarlet
as the Rec is a public park, Bath RFC have pretty restricted rights.
You can wander in any time there is no match on. The ticket entry via the back of the Rec on match days is temporary crush barrier cattle run with staff operating mobile bar code scanners at the end. The stand on that side is temp scaffolding which can be struck at the end of the rugby season. So the Rec ground share is an odd but charming arrangement.

The Rec is receiving a fair amount of stick!
Yes we know it's a Rec but after a few pints of Doom it looks almost as pretty as Morganngw.

The rec is a bit of a joke, but at least the before and after game time is spent in decent surroundings, rather than in a soulless carpark next to an asda or similar.
Luton is pretty horrendous, although Newport must run it pretty close.
