Still think it would be a fair pick for the Vikes in round 3
I was thinking TE perhaps, but Barkley late round 3 is ok for the Vikes I think

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
With the 85th pick of the 2013 Mock GM draft, the Washington Redskins pick:-
DJ Hayden, CB , Houston, 5'11", 191lbs
Hayden would he a great pick up for the Skins here. They won't take CBs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds in the real thing obviously but when I made the 2nd round pick we hadn't re-signed D Hall at that point. As things stand now and with the way this draft has panned out, I'd have taken Swearinger there. Redskins would be delighted if they came out the draft with him and Hayden!! Going by the latest reports though, Hayden won't even be there when the Redskins pick in the 2nd round in the real thing!

I'd spotted he hadn't been drafted yet and I would have traded up if I hadn't taken a corner with both the Packers (X. Rhodes) and the Falcons (B Wreh-Wilson)

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
With the 89th pick, the Houston Texans select Reid Fragel (RT, Ohio State).
This one was a bit of a headache. I wanted Sio Moore but he was snatched from me and i dont like any other OLB's this early. Phillip Tomas was considered but with Ed Reed there - and a few Safety prospects I fancy to be around in the 4th - I decided that OL was a bigger need right now. Fragel has only played the position for a year and was a TE prior to that. He's a great run blocker (which is key for a Texans RT) and is an upgrade over their currently shoddy right side. With Duane Brown, Wade Smith, Chris Myers, and Fragel, the Texans are sorted.

With the 90th pick, the Denver Broncos select - Phillip Thomas, Safety, Fresno State
Reckon a safety is needed after the end of the Ravens game, Thomas was impressive a year ago before his injury, and I reckon he would be a good fit in Denver

I think if I had to go back, I'd take Lotulelei for the Raiders at #3. At the time I picked there were health concerns, but overall I'd be happier to see him come in than Floyd.

yep, I know what you mean
i went WR at 16 for the Rams, at the time Keenan Allen was pretty much the top WR, now i'd probably go Cordarrelle Patterson or Tavon Austin

Yeah but if we hadn't taken over a week on one pick we could probably have managed to fit the 4th in, are we doing Texans, Chiefs and Titans compensatory picks?TM Moot wrote:3 days to go and 4 picks left...

Thing I would change would be not drop down so far to get Mingo, though that may have meant I lost out on Cyprien which would have sucked.

we could of been a little stricter time-wise on a couple of picks i guess, but we should get there in the end
if the Texans, Chiefs and Titans want to pick the 3rd round Comp picks then i'll happily add them in

With the 91st pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the New England Patriots select:
Da'Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech
I'll take a punt on another receiver with size as the Patriots continue to re-tool the WR position.

Browns take Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati.
That's OLB, S, CB and TE sorted, may have got less than they would in reality from the 49ers but trade still helps add more key guys than I could have gotten without the trade.

Thanks, was nervous waiting for him to fall down though I'll be amazed if certain guys go anywhere near where they've been taken in this draft.

Houston Texans select Jonathan Franklin (RB, UCLA)
High value pick here. I'm surprised he's still on the board. He will be an excellent change of pace back to compliment Arian Foster (they need to reduce his touches if he wants to continue at such a high level). He has good burst at the line of scrimmage if he see's a hole and shows speed when he gets to the outside. Perhaps the best receiving back in the class and has some elusiveness to break tackles and create big plays. He always falls forward looking for extra yards which is an attitude I value highly. He reminds me a lot of Shane Vereen.

I was going to take a safety anyway for the Titans
so I will take NYJ word for Wilcox being best available
So JJ Wilcox safety Geogia Southern 6'0'' 213lbs

Pretty sure Lane Johnson now doesn't fall to the Chargers at #11!
Seems like the tackles could well be in the top three right now.

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
My picks were:-
Miami Dolphins
#17 Tyler Eifert TE
#42 David Amerson CB
#54 Alex Okafor DE/ OLB
#69 Justin Pugh OG/ OT
#77 Ryan Swope WR
#82 Dallas Thomas OT/ OG
Indianapolis Colts
#24 Johnathan Banks CB
#86 Sio Moore OLB
Last year all my picks went higher in the actual draft put it will be hard pushed to repeat that this year.
I have taken the last three GM mock drafts on here and sorted all the selections by team. I will put it up on here over the next couple of days.

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
Eagles
4- Eric Fisher
35- Matt Elam
67- E.J. Manuel
Bengals
21- Barkevious Mingo
37- Eric Reid
53- Barrett Jones
70- Marcus Lattimore
I reckon most of them should go earlier than that, with Fisher probably going 1st.

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
Mixed success for me in the draft.
Correctly got the Rams selecting WR and LB first and second, but got the wrong players (Allen and Ogletree instead of Austin and Jones).
Got Patterson to the Vikings first round, but at Pick 23 not 29.

E.J. Manuel. Got him 2 round after he went, although time will tell whether he was worth it. Most of my early picks went before I got them but some of the later ones were a bit off. Had the Eagles taking a tackle which they did.

Re: 2013 Mock GM Draft - 3 ROUNDS COMPLETE!!
7. Steelers from Cardinals- Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon, 6'6", 248lbs
Took Jones later, though Jordan went out of their reach
17. Steelers- Ryan Nassib, QB, 6'2", 229lbs
They did take a QB later I guess
12. Cardinals from Dolphins- Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina, 6'2", 311lbs
Yeah boi
6. Cardinals- Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M, 6'4", 250lbs.
Went even lower than this irl
16. Cardinals from PIT- Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State, 6'5", 310lbs
Still dont mind this all things considered
