50 greatest knockouts in boxing history.
As I'm going to be without the Internet in my new house for over a month it is giving me a great chance to write this article. However I was wondering if anyone from here had any suggestions that they'd like me to include.

As Shah got the ball rolling on uppercuts, I'll also add Matthew Saad Muhammad-Lottie Mwale and Azumah Nelson-Pat Cowdell to the mix. Videos below!

Re: 50 greatest knockouts in boxing history.
Hagler v Hearns and more importantly Hearns vs Duran have to be in there.
Re: 50 greatest knockouts in boxing history.
Not sure if they are big enough to be considered but from the first series of Stallones Contender, there was a fight between Jessie Brinkley vs Bonsante(or something like that).
The whole production of it was immense!

Re: 50 greatest knockouts in boxing history.
Julio Cesar Vasquez against Carl Daniels, too. One of the great fight saving punches.
James Toney against 'Prince' Charles Williams was as clean as they come, and you could throw in any of Bob Foster's stoppages of Quarry, Finnegan, Tiger or Rondon. The Quarry one is probably my favourite out of all of them.
Oh, and Donaire's left hand which took out Vic Darchinyan looks better and better every time you watch it, in light of what Darchinyan has been able to do after taking it.

Re: 50 greatest knockouts in boxing history.
I think the right hand (the follow up left really just nudged him on his way down, in comparison!) which Rodrigo Valdez took out Bennie Briscoe with in their second fight must be up there, too. Amazing punch and remember, absolutely nobody else ever managed to do that to Briscoe - not Hagler, not Monzon, absolutely nobody. Devastating punch and Briscoe did well just to give himself a chance of continuing.

Ricardo Lopez v Ava Vilamor. Possibly my favourite uppercut of all time and Vilamor folded like an accordion. A sickening punch but beautifully executed.

Was that the knockout with quite a delayed reaction, Superfly? If it's the same one I'm thinking of then yes, it was an absolute beauty - one which Tina ordered me to look at some time ago!

Just watched it, that uppercut was brutal, Lopez has awesome technique. Loved the metaphor, 'He folded like an accordion'

That is a beauty of a punch. He unleashed another devastating knockout in his very next outing against Kitichai Preecha as well. Left jab, right hand, left uppercut. Boom. Flattened him. Personally, I prefer it to the Villamor uppercut but there is not much in it.
He was a wrecking ball, that little chap.
