For as long as the stream keeps flowing I am. Evangelous certainly did well to last the distance there.
What was that creature in the background during the groves interview?

Not really expecting fireworks from the other fights so am going to guess the first fight may be as good as it gets in terms of action.

Some sort of mutant looking mascot in sunglasses shadow boxing in the background with Groves apparently unaware.
By the way, anyone know why Purdy isn't facing Carson Jones? Was expecting that to be the show stealer.

The thing in the background was apparently Groves' mascot, Gingerbread Man. Beats Fred the Red and the like.
Jones pulled out with a virus. Definitely a shame as, like you, I thought it would be a cracker.

Purdy's looking very poor in this fight, looking more one paced than ever and if he didn't have a 15-20 lbs weight advantage he might be losing this fight as he is landing barely anything but is landing heavy when he does

Agree WHU, and that was a pretty weak stoppage.

Time for Groves to move up, looked good but was to be expected. Anything else we would've been asking questions of him.

Can't fault Groves for the opponent, had to take it at a weeks notice so was always going to be average fighter. Expect Hearn to deliver a big fight for the 25th of May for Groves, possibly a title eliminator.
