Friday is Mrspip's birthday and we're driving up to her mother's, what are the odds on me sneaking off to Scotstoun? And living to tell the tale?
See you in the gym hall on Friday Pip ?

It is used as the club for The Warriors on match evenings but is at other times a gym hall. Adjacent to the North Stand. Pint and a curry before the game and a few shandies afterwards ?

On another similar note, will you make the trek into Maylebone for tomorrow night?

Pip take her to Scotstoun and get her a cheeky wee Mr Singh's India curry - rather tasty if a bit of a rip off ! What more could a woman want for her birthday ! ?jimbopip wrote:Excellent idea, will depend on when we make the trek northward and wether Mrspip wants/expects to go out for her birthday.

Re: Leinster v Glasgow
Schiz, if only life were that simple. I have the script in my head,
Darling I have just driven you 450 miles to see you silver haired mother who is so pleased to see me she's stopped strangling the ferrets, now I think I'll just go out for a bit of fresh air and be back soon. Oh, and can you pick me up from the train station in six hours please?
As I say I have the script... Do I have the nerve?
Mind you Glasgow are in fine form at the moment and I haven't had a decent pint since Murrayfield...

Re: Leinster v Glasgow
Lovin the banter on here. Renews my Faith in the The Code. Grand club. Great fans.
These 2 teams deserve to contest the Grand Final. This was the RABO game of the season so far. It had me on the edge of my seat, all the way through. It was positive rugby. A sheer joy to see two teams really going at it in attack and knocking the bejayus other of each up-front to earn the right.
Really thought Warriors had us. Then Madigan really kicked-in. Even stopped us laughing at his mad, girlie, haircut. He's a wee bit special that fella.
I love Jonny Sexton. Ever since he came on the scene, I knew he would be a Lion one day.
But. It would probably be best, if he didnt start another game for Leinster this season.
Give him a last hurrah in the late stages of a Final perhaps.
Its Madigans turn now. As it will be all next season. Others will disagree, but I say leave him at it. He has 3 big games now, to prove he is the Man. And get a phhokin haircut while hes at it.
Great havin de banter with ye Glasgow fans. Just feicin grand. See ye lot in Dublin for the Grand Final. Man, I'd love that. It would be proper.
Cheers lads. (with an E mind)

Gibson, cheers fella. Good banter with fairly honest assesments of Saturday's match on both sides but Dublin for the Grand Final rather than Glasgow...That's just mental, Ted so it is!

Re: Leinster v Glasgow
Gibson, if Scotstoun with additional stands could hold 18 000 then that would be perfect. Otherwise Parkhead or Ibrox. As someone said earlier on another post the blue half of Glagow (football wise) are so skint they would probably jump at the chance. But let's not get too previous there are still a lot of ambushes to be avoided.
