Anyone had a go on the BBC Premier League Predictor?

It's here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm

I had West Ham 10th, QPR, Wigan and Reading going down. I think I had a top four of Chelsea and Arsenal as well as the Mancunians too.

I tried to be as honest as possible with West Ham's scores so I was surprised to see us in the top half.

I was pretty harsh on Stoke, Villa and Wigan so if the season goes the way I am guessing then we'll have no relegation scrap on the last day.

1-1 I reckon

Going on what I've seen of United of late, and the fact that we managed to ruffle your feathers last time you lot were down here, I reckon we could snatch something. I won't put money on that though...

1-2 Man United
Think you will give us a tough time but the chance to win the league next weekend at the The Emirates will fuel our desire.
If we win the league at The Emirates do Arsenal have to give RVP the gurad of honor?

They don't have to, I doubt there are any rules. But I suppose they should considering fair play etc.

I know Ferguson likes to put one over on us because of our past of damaging your cause. I reckon it will be close, won by the odd goal. If Andy is firing then he'll be hard work for anybody but I don't trust our defence to keep a clean sheet.

RVP and Man U will only get a guard of honour if Man U have ALREADY won the league going into the game, not if they win it there.

So the next match then, Chelsea lol.
So if, IF we win it at the The Emirates would the trophy presentation be then & there? and if yes then why wouldn't they have to give the guard of honor as we go up to collect the trophy?

In past years we have been given the trophy at away stadiums.

You get the trophy if theres no home games left. Otherwise theyd just wait and do it at the next OT game.

Difference is, you usually get the trophy at home unless it's last day of the season and you're away.

This season, United will get the trophy, likely at their last home game of the season. Last season, if City didn't have their "AGUEROOOO" moment, United would have had the trophy at Sunderland.

But a team that makes Wiltord look good enough to score goals definitely deserves a trophy.

Plus at that time they had a striking quartet of Henry, Bergkamp, Kanu and Wiltord. And Jeffers I think.

Ive done it up to just before the last round

United are champions but wont set a new record
Arsenal are 4 points clear of Chelsea in 4th
Chelsea are a point clear of Spurs in the race for 4th.
Everton are locked into 6th

Reading are relegated
Interestingly, QPR are still alive on 33 points, Villa are 18th with 34 points, and Stoke 17th with 35.

Wilturd NEVER looked good for Arsenal, he was Giroud---. I think Ian Wright is better now than Wilturd was then.

So a man that scored goals everywhere he had been and was part of two Premier League title winning sides...is crap.

I don't buy it. There is an underlying reason. He did something to you. Did he score against Belgium or Albion or something?

Wilturd scored 50 in 171 games for Arsenal, a 1-in-3..42 ratio. And apart from that, scored goals in France - at not a great ratio, all things considered (107 in 366 league games).

Henry scored 228 in 376 for Arsenal, at the same point in time - 1 every 1.64 games.

Bergkamp was 120 in 423, 1 in every 3.5, but he added 124 assists, and was more of a AM really.

Kanu was an enigma, great one minute, shocking the next, but still got 43 in 197 games (1 every 4.58 games).

Don't get me wrong, just like Giroud he's a good bench guy, but he was never truly Arsenal calibre. Same as Giroud now.

Not sure Albion were ever in the Prem while Wilturd was there Laugh

Can you sniff at a 1:3 goals to game ratio? That's not bad at all. Plus the fact that he often came off the bench or was out wide makes that a pretty decent return.

I'd have him over Kanu every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

You had an Emanuel Pogasex dream? Not bad, I once had a dream where Kylie did me a sexy strip tease, then committed suicide by jumping out of the window.

And I can sniff at 1:3.4 because they were all on a plate, he never scored a difficult goal in his life. He was spoonfed by Henry, Bergkamp and Overmars.

Laugh You can't possibly back that up. He will have scored a difficult goal before, and if I had youtube access at work I would find one within 3 clicks. But I don't, and I'm not inclined to ask my IT department to help me prove a point to my online pretend manager mates.

It's weird what your subconscious can throw up when you're asleep. Some real weird choices for sex dreams.

I don't like wearing bracelets or any jewellery. I'm actually phobic of it. True story. My ex-girlfriends never got jewellery gifts from me because I can't touch it for some reason.

I couldn't wear a ring. I had a watch but eventually I just took it off - even then it only had a fabric strap.

Literally cannot touch necklaces or bracelets without feeling very uncomfortably anxious. I have almost no inclination to why, either...
