The once popular boxing quiz thread
First topic message reminder :
Since it is a quiet Friday and it has been an age since we did one of these thought I would restart the once popular quiz thread. The premise is very simple: someone posts a question and the person who gets that one right posts the next question and so on and so on.
Since I started the thread I will pose the first question with apologies if it appeared on the initial thread, but as that one was huge I am certainly not planning on ploughing through it to find out.
Who was the first fighter to beat professionally a father and son from the same family, if anyone wants to show off and name the two fighters feel free.
If we can resist the temptation to leap onto google as well it would be appreciated.

No they were Americans. The son is actually ranked in the top 20 of all time at light heavy if one believes the IBRO

We have a winner, good work JM, really hope after all this it is right. If it isn't don't blame me blame James Curl he wrote the book I nicked it from.
