Sunderland are defending so deep now, a lot of time left for Newcastle to make the pressure tell.

Fantastic goal by Adam Johnson. Di Canio is a legend, his celebrations are amazing, welcome to the Premiership indeed. Newcastle back into trouble.

Great passion by Di Canio. Was as if he scored that himself.

One of Sunderland, Wigan, Stoke, Villa, Norwich and perhaps Newcastle then.
Wigan have 2 games in hand, one of which is at City on Wednesday. They're going to need to win one of them 2 games

Also it's a relief on their negative goal difference which may be a factor come the final day.

Passion he brings to the role Olly is just what a relegation threatened team needs. They played well last week against Chelsea as well.

'Arry's prediction that 37 points will be enough for survival is looking laughable.

Quick look at Sunderland's remaining 5 fixtures shows me that 3 of them are winnable - away to Villa, home to Stoke, and home to Southampton.

Jesus just looked at Wigan's fixtures. Still got Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Swansea to play.

The heat is really on Wigan now. They'll desperately need to win at least one of those games in hand.
This relegation battle is awesome this season.

The way results have gone this weekend, I think Stoke are gonna get something here...
Villa vs Sunderland is a huge game next weekend. Villa stopped QPR's revival at home, can they stop Sunderland's

I wonder who people want relegated more - Wigan or Stoke? Maybe 'Arry Houdini can get both relegated.

I don't mind Wigan myself. I'd rather Stoke go than them.
This could get ugly for Stoke now.

That didn't take long. 3 minutes and Carrick pokes home.

I don't know what everyone has against Wigan, if they didn't deserve to be in the Premier League they would have been relegated by now

The Stoke line-outs don't appear to be causing United a great deal of problems at the moment.

I saw a FB post about it. Two games behind closed doors should suffice.

Seems that United fans sang "What the Frak hell was that?" after a minutes applause for a young fan. Stoke responded with those chants.

Hard to look good against a bunch of spoilers though Ent.
The overall quality of the PL has dropped dramatically but then we all knew that.

We counter attack, in normal play we double up and get a cross in. Aside from that we've very little game plan or creativity.
