Also the one City player I wouldn't expect to show some spirit down the stretch, Nasri, seems to finally finding some form.

He's almost definitely going to Bayern I believe, despite the fact that I already have three really good forwards. Could be the start of a big summer forwards wise, with Gomez leaving, possibly as a replacement for Falcao at Atletico, and who knows where he'll end up!
I think it's going to take one big move for all the others to start happening I think.
Rooney to PSG
Falcao to United
Gomez to Athletico
Lewandowski to Bayern
That's how I see it going.
Rooney wont leave and Falcao wont come to United as he is probs off to City or Chelsea
Lwen to bayern
Gomez to Atletico

If Man United beat Villa not only do they win the league but Arsenal have to give them (and RVP) a guard of honour

Adebayor comes off, and Spurs smash in 3 goals in 7 minutes. Coincidence? Lovely finishing by Dempsey, Bale, and Defoe to finish off the title race for good and keep the race for the top 4 alive.
Arsenal have to play United, but they have 3 very winnable games after that. Chelsea have the most difficult run-in - Liverpool, United, Everton and Tottenham are still in their fixture list. Tottenham just have Chelsea as their toughest game of the run-in.

Not really. Guards of honour are a load of nonsense in my opinion. I wouldn't have my players clapping on a team that many expected to win the title anyway.

Id expect West Ham to do it, its a sign of acknowledging achievement. You certainly look like a stronger team if you show respect rather than being petty and ignoring it. Arsenal should definitely do it, that team needs to feel that uncomfortable moment and learn from it.

Under Big Sam they definitely would. I'm not sure Arsene Wenger would give it any thought to be honest. But they may well do it.

Arsene probably wouldnt, he wouldnt even think of the psychology or pushing that team to face failure.

If Jose Mourinho can give a guard of honour, anyone can.
Arsenal probably will, I wouldn't be fussed either way tbh.

Chelsea 1 nil up at HT - really soft goal as well. As it stands, Arsenal's top 4 hopes aren't in their own hands!
