Singh exonerated

Bit of a bummer for SWATS who make that silly deer antler spray as WADA say "...it does not contain sufficient quantities [of IGF-1] to break the rules."

Re: Singh exonerated
What do you make of Singh now suing the PGA? He says he didn't gain any benefit by using the spray - so why use it?????

I make it he has just proven what a nasty individual he is. Cheating, sexist comments and a lack of perspective of how wealthy he is.

Re: Singh exonerated
I wonder if he ever paid the bills he incurred in Australia 25 years-ish ago which caused him to be black-balled down there?
As others have said,
If he loses, he loses.
If he wins, he loses.
Can't see why he sued the PGA Tour instead of WADA.
But: There's going to be harsh reality for golfers who plan to play in the Olympics and expose themselves to more stringent testing.

Re: Singh exonerated
Why would he be suing anyone, its not for him to decide what goes on WADA's list of banned substances. It does not matter if antler ointment has or does not have an effect, he agreed to play on the pga tour who in turn signed up to WADA controls.

Agrreed Mac,
He signed up for these rules, he should abide by them.
I DO think some Tour pros are not exactly against what he's doing, although they wouldn't say so.
The press are just ridiculing him!
A clumsy policy, sporadically enforced, and with zero transparency - and that might be Vijay's real point as he is convicted by the court of public opinion, not to mention his own admission.
Not totally unlike Tiger at The Masters.

Re: Singh exonerated
I assume he's suing because the Tour suspended him without due process?

Re: Singh exonerated
Suspended suspension though, nbs, as it never takes effect until any appeal is heard.
Happened to Sabbatini a couple of years ago when he was done for behavioural issues.
But: Wonder if Veej is using deer antler spray during his round today? Nothing to stop him now!

Re: Singh exonerated
His lawyers apparently hired a bunch of scientists who did some tests on antler spray and determined that it didn't contain any banned substances. I think they're trying to say that if the PGA had done their own similar testing instead of relying on WADA, then poor Vijay wouldn't have had to endure this painful process !

The lawsuit continues.

I still think it is really weird that VJ still turns up to PGAT events despite his continued idiocy in trying to sue them.

Re: Singh exonerated
Why? What do you want VJ to do? Voluntarily say "Hmmm. I better not play in any Pro events on the PGA Tour at the moment thereby reducing my playing earnings to zero. Yes, that's the thing to do!"

navy
I meant the pga tour should ask him to stay away from events in the hope they win the case. They could then hand out a ban for harming the image of the game and let him back on time served.
