Klitschko v Povetkin Oct 5th
First topic message reminder :
Seems like this fight is close to a done deal now. Povetkins manager has bid a whopping 23m at the purse bids stage and will stage the fight in Moscow at whats expected to be a 70,000 sell out. Hopefully Povetkin can provide a good challenge.

He doesnt have the moronic charm of waingro nor the admirable if misguided grit of d4 nor the eloquence of spring. Even gordy is superior. Heed the captain
If I'm the only person that can clearly see that its the same person as Waingro and Gordy then God help the rest of you...

Can't be he isnt patronising enough to be gordy and superiority complex as vast and comic as waingros

You wait, he'll tell us the Klitschkos are brothers soon. Oh, and that the fight between Lewis and McCall should have been a win for Lewis really.

Gents, my thoughts from the froch thread earlier... The glass jaw being a disadvantage in boxing comment.. It's in that 'wladimir is vitali's brother' style....
Is that you waingro? Have you moved to chester? Winchester... W in Chester? Or have I being doing too many cryptic crosswords? Apologies if I'm wrong... Just the style of this post looked familiar.
winchester wrote:Khan is overrated, Froch is underrated. Khans problem is he has a glass jaw. If Khan had an iron chin he would be an all time great. His skills are not the problem. Froch is much less skilled than Khan but he has a better chin. People overrate Khan based on his ability but when you factor in his glass jaw then it’s a major disadvantage in boxing. Khan will never be a great for this reason.

Franciso Pianeta - 6' 5". Record 28 0 1
Mariusz Wach - 6' 7.5". Record 27 0 0
Tony Thompson 6' 5". Record 36 2 0
Proof positive that Wlad is picking on midgets to fight!
he probably didnt even know about these fights.
