Maybe so. I just reckon it's something you're 'born with'... either you love sport or you don't care about it too much. Is that too black & white?

No sounds right to me , my lad is sports mad now i just love it .

Do you think we will have a good year at all the events ?

If we can achieve anywhere near 66.67% success rate then we'll be having a good year. It all evens out.

I need to go to as many live games as humanly possible this year .

I'll see. Did too many last year and whilst it was great I've got these jobs on this year. Still, I'll need to get out and enjoy myself don't I?

Wont be around from today as got to go get the back looked at over the weekend , fingers crossed it's holding up ok ... new Dr so we shall see what she thinks .

It's been very hot here today and it will be the same for the next few days. I should go to beach early on Saturday/Sunday morning (back at 9am) and try to spend the rest of the time keeping cool... not much you can do when it's like that, is there?

Should I be watching Winter Olympics at 3:40 am... when the Auckland 9s starts in about 4.5 hours?

Did you watch everything ?

Watched quite a lot of cricket, flicked between Olympics... and saw most of the 9s.

It was very entertaining stuff. I do like the idea of 5 point tries in the zone behind the posts. Makes for interesting scorelines.

Think that was just a round match. Russia out.... so no.
That used to be the event at the winter olympics for me... what about you?

Rugby season has started now but in truth I'm not that arsed about it, seem to have fallen out of love with it at the moment. Though I am looking at games for the World Cup so there's obviously a little love still there!

Spring must be on the way to you. Odd question but do you get snowdrops in early spring there?

Yeah, I know that feeling of burn out - both with sport & life.

Very nice here during the last week or so.
Today was sublime - early 20s but felt more like mid-20s.

There has been some snow in the mountains in recent days/weeks but daytime temps are now rising. The "Ski season" officially ends early October.
There were a couple of snow falls in the Blue Mountains... but not much. I haven't had the heater on for about 2 weeks so it is warmer in the mornings now.

Sounds like you need a break. You should aim to come over here one day. The Cricket WC is on early next year here. The house should be about 90-95% finished by then. Have you ever thought about it or is that a ridiculous question?

I see him on fb... he's always on there. Seems much improved. Posts lots of funny sheep videos and cartoons.
