Slight deja vu I know, but as the other thread is concentrating on the choice of Corbisiero to join as cover, I thought we should have a separate one to discuss the citing.

For me the Force scrum half was grinding his forearm into Healy's face, who was lying trapped on the ground.

Ah feic it anyway, he's so rarely injured, and to pick one up at such a bad time.

Gutted for him, but as the previous poster says, at 25 he's at least 2 more tours in him.

I for one am very disappointed for him, when he played the All BLacks last year, I got a lot of respect for him.

Hopefully he continues and becomes in legendary player and have other opportunities.

Personally I though Sheehan was potentially fish-hooking Healy from the start anyhow. Healy didn't move his mouth to Sheehans hand... Sheehans hand moved to Healy's mouth.

Presume it's a precaution for Jenkins being out the same as Corbs was a precaution for DJ Church.

May be interesting on Saturday - MV might have to do the full match as there is now no cover for LH unless you count fatboy Stevens or Corbisero steps straight off the plain and into his kit

I'd rather see a half jet lagged Corbisiero play then Stevens get anywhere near a scrum.

Tough on Healy but this is a real chance for Mako to get the loosehead shirt now. He was already playing well enough for it to be a straight fight between him and Healy.

Real shame for Healy. He's a great scrummager and such an asset in the loose. Think we will miss him greatly. Chance for Mako to step up.

He is playing well. I did wonder if he was likely to be considered impact sub though.

thank the lord we're not facing a team who can aggressively counter scrum.

I think Corbisiero or Grant could actually get a start if Jenkins cannot prove fitness. Mako is great on impact but his set piece is not up to "test" standard.

The cameras did pick up Sheehans hand in and around the mouth of Healy though, just before Sheehan drove his forearm into Healy's mush.

Perhaps, but Jenkins is struggling with injury at the moment and Mako is playing very well.

I missed the Jenkins one. Fair enough. Im sure he will prove a good addition. Hopefully they will both get game time if they can get over the jet lag.

Injuries will happen - AUS already have Pocock their captain and best player out as well as Ioane, Smith, Higginbottom and probably Beale from his own adventures.

Here are a list of test players we missed from the last couple of tours.

93 - Robert Jones, Scott Hastings, Wade Dooley, Ian Hunter.
97 - Scott Quinnell, Rob Howley, Ieuen Evans.
01 - Greenwood, Dillaglio, Hill.
05 - BOD, Vickery, Dillaglio.
09 - Flannery, Henson, Wilkinson.

As all four teams are managed independently of each others... the lions do not have the luxury of man managing their players to make sure they are all as fit as possible for a forthcoming lions tour.

If there are less than half a dozen call ups come the end of the tour I'd be surprised.
