Great point. Burnley have only failed 2 score twice now in 2 games, both against Brighton. Amazing really how good our back 4 is considering it has Bruno and Greer in it.

Whilst it was a great point. Not scoring again is becoming an issue. Need 2 play 2 up top and need to make some new signings.

Dale Stephens would be a good signing. Hopefully get Craig Conway back. Sell Bridcutt. Try and get Wickham either on loan or even permanent.

Big 2 days lie ahead.

OK Thanks for making Burnley drop 2 points. Much appreciated. Feel free to let us know what team you would like us to beat and we will return the favour for you.

Liam Bridcutt gone. Thanks for the memory's Liam, class player. Deserves prem football. Great lad as well, won't meet a nicer player, always gave 100% nothing less.

Will never forget this moment.

Sign some random Spanish striker from Celta Vigo called David Rodriguez.

Will either go one or 2 ways. Be class like Ulloa, or a huge dissapointment. The latter more likely.

Need more players, but David Burke says he doubts we are bringing anymore in. Well if we don't want the play offs, then thats fine.

Watford 2-0 Brighton.

Sounds like we had more of the ball, but Watford took there chances.

But this is what we need to get use to for the rest of the season IMO. Awful.

Big 3 points.

Good to see Ulloa score.

March and Bruno outstanding.

Spanish Rodney looks decent.

Performance was still pretty poor. Need to play a lot better on Tuesday night, or Leeds will run riot.

hahaha duty!!!!

Fantastic win. We just look so solid! Upson is without question apart from Wes Morgan the best center back in this league. He had McCormack in his back pocket with minor help from Greer who also put in a shift!!!

Lua Lua changed the game when he came on. What a player! Ulloa with a great finish and no McDermot it didn't' take a deflection. Ulloa looks back to his best. March and Ince both outstanding tonight, Ince rightfully named MOTM. #Youth

Hull in the FA Cup next. Should be a great game, win great, if not we can leave with our heads held hide!

Haha i think the match all depends on team selection. If Hull play a 2nd string and we play 1st team, its an even playing field and its anyones game. If we play our 2nd string as well, then its Hull to lose. Will be a very tough game tonight, but i really really want us to win, just so we can have the chance to beat the greasy haired egotistic Uruguayan. But if we lose hey ho, we've lost to a decent Premiership side and haven't been on the end of a cup embarrassment.

It will be interesting to see the reputation Gus gets. I don't think he should get booed or get abuse yelled at him, but in that token, i don't feel his success should be credited, due to his exit. Also people go on about how well he done, fair play job well done, but lets not forget he had a good squad and a fair bit of dosh. I think we should just blank him. Constantly showing support by singing Oscar's name and just ignoring Gus. That will annoy him more as we all know he loves everything to be about him.

Compared to this season, its like comparing a tramp to Vince McMahon!

Fantastic performance tonight, a few first team players missing and a lot of youngsters involved, against a very good side, who im sure will easily stay up.

Could of been game over at half time, if Ulloa header went in, i did miss it, went for a half time beer but seen the replay. Huge chance. But his goal was brilliant. Top pass by Buckley as well.

2nd half was a great game of football, entertainment for all. Solly March was f*cking brilliant. What a gem we have here. Solid as ever at the back, led by sir matty upson. Hull's goal was probably deserved as i thought they played well. Taken well by the big lad.

Dunk, March, Ince, Forster Caskey, Chickson. All put in a top shift tonight. Good young players we have coming through, coached by a top bloke.

Fun whilst it lasted. Always next year. Full focus on the play offs now (never going to happen though!)

Fantastic finish for the first Brighton goal, it reminded me of Michael Owen against Brazil in 2002.

Brighton, I imagine, will be rather disappointed overall. Uphill task now.

But the replay comes 48 hours after a home game against Wigan. 250 mile trip up to Hull. Stupid pure stupid.

About time they finish replays i think. Get it done and settled there and then i say.

But great gesture by the club, they will cover the cost of the Hull tickets.

Bless the fans that go, but ill be drinking in a pub watching us crash out.

Nah. Think of the little clubs earning replays to earn big days out and reap the financial rewards. Scrapping replays in the FA Cup would be another move to make big clubs stronger and small clubs weaker.

That is my counter argument tbh mate. Like last season when we played Arsenal, part of me was more hoping for a draw than a win, for a trip to Emirates!

It's a tough one to call, but i do feel in the next few years, they will bin the replays. Or maybe replays up to the 4th round.

Big defeat yesterday, but very undeserved has to be said.

24 shots i think we had, 1 goes in. They had 2 and both go in. Sort of sums up our luck really this season.

Positives

Ulloa scores again.

Reading, Forest and Ipswich also lost.

Hull on Monday night, a game we really could do without.

Unfortunately, yes.

Had Brighton favourites for the first tie, but they'll certainly be up against it with such a long trip and a quick turn-around from Saturday.

Might be able to hold on for penalties? Half-inch it on the break?

It's a hoping game for Brighton.

Decent 2nd half from Brighton. Shame about the 1st half really. Brezovan at fault for arguably both Hull goals, when the ball is that close to the goalline it's his responsibility.

Focusing on promotion is your aim so hardly a disaster, even still.

Yeah big shame, but lets face it we never stood chance. Rubbish team out against a good prem side. So an expected result.

When you have goalkeepers like Peter Brezovan and Casper Ankergran, you have to expect a lot of mistakes and mistakes that will cost you the game. Which is what Brezovan did today. Laughable goalkeeping for the first goal. 2nd goal, i wouldn't blame him, more or less complete rotten luck, something that is against us this season sadly, i also thought Matty Fryatt was in an offside position and interfearing with play, but that did look a tough call for the lino. 2-0 game over.

2nd half, i still thought we were very poor. Good header by Ulloa, his song really is true, he does score a goal a game!!! But not good enough for my liking. Lua lua was terrible when he came on. Defence was getting opened up to easily and there was no killer pass.

So no Wembley trip again Sad Shame, we've let down ITV/BT Sport and the neutrals out there. Sure they would of prefered to of seen Gus Poyet day, rather than Hull vs Sunderland, when you can see Wes Brown get sent off again.

So basically Brighton choked at the thought of Poyet coming down and showing them up, just like they choked the playoff semi final.

If this is fishing, fair play you've got me to bite.

But if it isn't, then how do you choke when you're playing a team in the league above?  Laugh

Its Hull, they're hardly world beaters. You were 1-0 up first leg and choked it away in the final 10 mins. Tonight you've gone there and your keepers choked.

Must be in the Brighton DNA

So you weren't fishing lol. Hull are a good team, if we were playing someone like Norwich, Cardiff, Fulham. Then i would accept we chocked.

Positive is, at least Gus Poyet wont' deny us Wembley for the 2nd season running.
