After missing out on a Forest ticket.

Both play off tickets sorted. Hope we don't get smashed on Thursday night, so its not a pointless trip up to Derby on Sunday!

Wayne Bridge retired from football. Hope he enjoys retirement, the coolest player to play for Brighton and one hell of a player.

Still think signing Stephen Ward has proven to better, not only has Ward basically played every second this season, but he has been outstanding, unlucky not to win player of the season, Matt Upson just winning it. His goals and assists are impressive as well. Regardless of what league were in next season, hope we can sign him from Wolves.

Cheers buddy.

The great thing about the play offs this year, is there is simply no pressure on us what so ever. Derby, QPR and Wigan all finished above us and they are all much better sides than us. We can just enjoy the atmosphere and the big occasion tonight! Also it can't get any worse than last season, losing in the 2nd leg to the arch rivals!

As for team news. Only fitting to have key players injured, story of the season. Bruno and Dale Stephens missing out. Ill go for

GK Polish Tom - Hopefully that was his first and last mistake of the season last Saturday.

2nd leg tomorrow, gonna be a long day for me poor liver!

Tie very much not over yet, however i think if Derby go 1-0 up in the 1st half, that is that.

Will Buckley and Matt Upson have joined our injury list, so it's gonna be a weekish squad tomorrow.

Obviously you need to invest if you want to go up, but there's no point spending loads of dosh and not getting anywhere e.g. Forest and Blackburn.

Oscar did a great job, had a squad which lost key players left right and center either being sold or through injury. Brought in the youngsters e.g. March, Ince who have done superb for us. He did a great job, but i understand he has left for more personal reasons, obviously we don't know, one thing is for sure, he has left on good terms, whilst Gus left on horrific terms. Oscar thanks for everything, great bloke, been a pleasure to have him as manager.

No idea who will take over. Steve Clarke could work. One thing is for sure, they have a very accretive job on offer, best ground in the league, full houses every week and a brand new Training Ground. Still exciting times. Anyone who is complaining, doesn't deserve to watch us play.

If you read Garcia's statement its pretty obvious there's a lack of backing in the transfer market

At some point you've got to have a flurry, doesn't have to be massive amounts, but you can't keep not investing and losing managers

Im happy with what were doing tbh.

3 seasons in the Championship

10th, 4th and 6th. Been fine.

The Championship it's not about money. Its about getting a team that will throw lifes on the line for 90 minutes per game, e.g. Burnley and Derby.

Indeed i agree.

Someone in the pub (sorry) after the match yesterday made a good point. Attacking has been a problem for us for a while, whenever we get a decent attacking player we sell. Murray, Barnes, Bennett, Noone all class and have gone in recent years. Who's next Ulloa in the summer? Probably.

Don't really know. If he's learned from the mistakes he made with us, he'd do a decent job. Got good contacts for getting loans in, so that could help I guess. Not sure he'd want to drop to the championship, but he'll probably have to if he wants to get a job.

As for Albion, any of Moyes, Rosler, McClaren, McInnes or Howe for me.

We have just signed Matthew Upson. Not sure if we needed him as Morgan, Wasilewski and Moore are all better IMO but he seemed to do well for you last year so I trust Pearson.

Fantastic signing for Leicester. Him and Morgan could be a great partnership. The best 2 center backs in that league last season without question. Huge huge loss for us. Him, Ward and Thomaz all gone. Next season looking very bleek already.

But makes sense. Bloke is close to retirement, might as well get as much as money as you can. Don't blame him one bit, all the best to him.
