National League bidding page
First topic message reminder :
This is where you bid for National League players.
You can also release players to National League sides for a small fee based on Experience here.
For Budgets please see SJE Budget page
Rules for Domestic Transfers from other UK clubs outside the Premiership
1. All domestic transfers need to state (i) full name of player (ii) club signing from and (iii) the initial bidding price.
2. The bid will be accepted/rejected after 24hours.
3. However, if a player is dual-registered the player whose club he is dual registered with will automatically get the opportunity to call that player up into their academy. They will have 48 hours after the initial bid to declare that this is what they are doing. The player must be named in their academy and if they are over the 20 player limit they will have to remove a player from the academy.
4. If this is not done within 48 hours of the original bid being accepted then they will not be entitled to have that player in their academy.
5. There will also be a premium rate for players that move clubs in this way, with a minimum of £1m being paid to the club that loses its academy prospect by means of compensation. This figure will be decided by the person responsible for domestic transfers.
6. If a young player is signed from a rugby league club they will NOT then form part of your own academy unless they are under 18. If you would like an over 18 year old to join your club you must bid from them in the same way you would do a Championship player.

Re: National League bidding page
Hartpury are gloucesters academy Chris. Glouceste train there and entered them in to the leagues to get better competition than academy vs academy. They entered the leagues maybe ten years ago right at the bottom. They have now been promoted to national 2 Gloucester dual register players with them. Any decent hartpury player will be on gloucesters books so off limits sorry

Prop since no one outbid you with in 24 hours he is your player
Hartpury are a collage where Gloucester send there players. They were entered into the league for more competitive rugby a few years back and they've been promoted every season on the trot scoring roughly 80 points a game.
As far as i'm concerned he is a Gloucester Acadamy/Senior Player in this game if matt chooses to add him to his squad if he doesn't then it's hunting season

I'm guessing a similar thing to us and Blaydon? If so that's Matts player.

Blaydon are a Rugby club who just have strong links with Falcons you'll find a lot more Falcons players actually turn out for Tynedale Pooly. Tynedale 1sts are Newcastles developmental team.
They also have a strong link with Blyth in which Carl Hayman coached there senior pack

Lions and Wales prop Darren morris plays for hartpury and is also registered to Gloucester

Sale are doing the same with Sale FC next season. Signing players for huge cash amounts and aiming to go from level 7 to national 1 (Level 3) in four or 5 years.
Although expect Fylde to be pushing Sale Sharks as the top NW club in the country over the next 10 years or so. They have a top class coaches and money behind them as well as signing great players. Brian Ashton rejected Prem offers to coach there.
Jason Robinson is playing there as well as Nick Royle (Eng sevens) and most of the Lancashrie squad which has won the county championship for last 3 years or so.

Driver - seen a few teams have players with guys over 21 in their academy - should we look to give them a week to sort this out, as can easily be moved into first team squad or sold?
What do you think?

Already got him I'm afraid Chris (Halavatau)
Socino is a class player though joined Nottingham for next season. Easily good enough for Prem

Don't use BBC rugby at all - have always enjoyed Championship rugby and keep a good eye on all the teams there.

Both Mullarkey and Mulchrone have been part of the Sale Jets side and the sale academy this year which would make them my players...

Re: National League bidding page
they arent contracted with sale but the clubs ive mentioned so considered them fair game. not sure what happens here will have to see what driver says.
mulchrone may be to old for an academy anyway and would have gone into my full squad

Re: National League bidding page
Think something needs to happen on the academy front because there are a lot of players that don't list their academy out at all, so potentially they have an unlimited sized academy.
I think that if you have an academy player then you have to name him in your academy squad, and if you dont other people can then bid on them. But with an important rule you can only bid on a player over the age of 18.
