Garcia v Mathysse
First topic message reminder :
Apparently the fight will be on the undercard of Floyd v Canelo. If so then great card. But how do you see the fight going?

Re: Garcia v Mathysse
Mathyssee to win via EKO. Wont go further than 3 or 4 rounds. Garcia id VERY limited in terms of boxing ability. Yes he holds average power and good timing, but he has no jab, speed or footwork in order to manoeuvre and keep Lucas at bay all night.
People go on about Garcias left hook of Morales, but he was WAY past his sell by date, and if we are honest, he gave Garcia his hardest fight in the first one.
Zab Judah troubled him big time late on, and for the first 3 rounds against Khan he had his ears boxed off and was marked up pretty badly.
if your getting hit that much then there is every chance Mathyssee finds range early in this fight.
The problem is that whilst Garcia may be able to take Khans punches to give one, same as Morales and Judah, in pretty confident that he wont be able to take one to give one in this fight.
As soon as Mathyssee lands, Garcia will retreat and will be stopped in devastating fashion, and i cant wait to see him on the deck being picked up by his dad.

Superb fight and fantastic that it has been added to the Floyd undercard.
Should be the fight of the night and Garcia is getting knocked out.

Zab Judah beat Matthyse. Close but definite win for Zab.
But styles make fights. I expect a great fight and the first one to land big wins.

Re: Garcia v Mathysse
No way matthysse wouldn't have finished Zab off pretty easily if they meet again
The first fight was over 2 years ago and Matthysse has only gotten bettet whereas zab has become older and further past it
Matthysse wouldn't have needed two attempts to stop an ancient morales
