Floyd training for Canelo
Some observations. Àlready in scary shape. He looks 149 !!! The jab is prominent on the pads. Sitting on the body punches more than usual.
I deduce that the game plan is go to the jab earlier than we are used to from Floyd and then look to slow him to the body like he did with Ricky! Enjoy the vid!

Mayweather is just simply an elite fighter of a different calibre to everyone around today. For me, the way he keeps in shape, dominates people and just trains and studies is fantastic to see. He is, for me, a top 20 P4P fighter in history.

You can never 'deduce' much from a Floyd open training session as they give little to nothing away and sometimes simply 'fake' their way through.

Boxers do love to skip a lot. Wonder if they are big into Hopscotch as well.

Who knows lol. Sugar Ray Leonard did very little road work... He hated it, but he skipped like a demon.... That's what he used for his cardio. On the other Hand Ali would run u a marathon!

Interesting, zoomy; you don't see Floyd keeping this one on the outside, then? With Hatton, who was rising in weight himself, and was so often out of shape between fights, the body attack made a lot of sense - you don't think that's a high-risk move against someone of Alvarez's physical profile and fighting style?
