606V2 BOXING on Twitter
First topic message reminder :
Hiya Guys...
Been noticing alot of the other boards are getting their sports onto twitter. Thought this may be a good thing for one of the boxing moderators to look into. The wrestling & rugby board has managed to get some famous names to promote the 606v2 website...who knows we may get the likes of Haye & Mayweather dropping in from time to time.
Just an idea.! Let us know what you all think & whether anyone would be interested in doing it!

Bellew is active online on Eastside and Boxrec too: The first mention of the possible Cleverly fight was on Boxrec, something like "I want the fight! Should I take it?"

Fair play. He isn't to everyones taste but I've got a lot of respect for him attempting to jump in and fight Clev at such late notice. Refreshing when you see so many people desperately trying to protect unbeaten records.

Do you not think that it was just a chance for a bit of publicity for Bellew? I dont see how he could have realistically made the weight from the reports at the time.

Debateable. I think he thought he may be able to make it. Either way he has probably benefited.joeyjojo618 wrote:Do you not think that it was just a chance for a bit of publicity for Bellew? I dont see how he could have realistically made the weight from the reports at the time.

Re: 606V2 BOXING on Twitter
He said on Twitter that he rapidly lost a few pounds before accepting the fight officially, which made him believe he could strip the rest, but then he hit a wall and simply could not lose any more at such a speed.
Re: 606V2 BOXING on Twitter
I just asked Andre Ward why none of his fights have been at home, when the likes of Froch have had to travel. Think its a question many on here have been asking throughout the super 6. His response being:
I am the only fighter that has fought 2 replacements, no one else has done that.
Not sure what that has to do with anything, surely fighting a replacement at home is easier than fighting one of the originals??
I told him of opinion on 606v2 being split, with some thinking he has had it easy, whereas some think he is the real deal, and he went on to say:
your entitled to that. The nature of the game is this no matter who u beat someone will always say...what about this guy #Life.
I let him know that personally I reserve judgement until a Froch fight takes place, before wishing him luck in the final. It's a shame that messages are limited to 140 characters to be honest, would have been good to have fitted some more questions in, but being at work I haven't really got the time to keep tweeting back and forth!

Fists
Ask him:
Who'd win in a headbutting contest between you and Andre the Giant?
