Fundraising ideas!
Hey fellas, I am a newly head of the junior section at the club and I am currently brainstorming ideas to raise funds for the junior section.
We need new kits, training tops, training equipment, all sorts really, and my budget was given as £200 for the year. This will barely cover the cost of the dinner we had to entice people to come and brainstorm hahaha.
Anyway I thought I'd start a quick topic as there are a lot of people here I am sure have done similar before.
Thanks,
Jack

A quiz night usually raises a few bucks, but it must be promoted, you also get the added bonus of a fight... well in these parts you do.

Re: Fundraising ideas!
Bag packing in the local supermarket is an easy one to organise. Make sure they are wearing last seasons moth eaten jerseys and look suitably pathethic.
Also there will be a lot of open wallets and purses by the tills so get the light fingered among them to practice their pilfering. Artfulls to your Fagin.
I am reviewing the situation

Golfday is a wonderful way of making money for fund raising.butterfingers wrote:4 gems first up, wow, thanks guys!

I am going to give you an example of how we do it in SA, you'll have to find out pricing in UK though.
I can for example organise a golf day whereby a golf club will give me a pricing of R100 per players, then I sell these fourballs for R 2000, meaning I make R 400 per player.
If you sell 25 fourballs I make R 1600X25 = R40 000 profit. Then I might do a fingers lunch with it, or perhaps a pie and chips at the halfway house which might cut my profits to R30 000 for the day.
you can get prizes sponsored By those buying the four balls, or anyone else.
