Madden is better now. You can do everything like move your team and set the prices for peanuts and drinks at your stadium. Plus you deal with the whole draft/scouting thing too.

Fifa isn't as immersive, but then it probably wouldn't appeal so much to the people who play it if it was.

You know what is stupid? Handicaps in golf.

I don't get the point. You're either good at it or you're not, so if you're a mong you shouldn't be getting "free" strokes. If the other guy takes less shots than you, you lose. It could be so simple.

Not much Viva, I think it was around £800 each including 3 hotels, 2 flights and the game tickets.

Then again, it's Texas, so I don't imagine hundreds of people clamouring to go there.

About £1600 but that was to San Francisco and Vegas so it was pricier. Although it'd probably be cheaper if you just went to one place, because we had two extra flights in there and you're paying a fair amount for swanky hotels in Vegas.

Where do you want to go?

Was going to say.
Im paying £1800 for San Fran 4 nights, Los Angeles 3 nights & Vegas 5 nights. Flying with Virgin from Heathrow in July 2014. All hotels & internal flights included. There decent/good hotels too, none of them look poopie.
I looked at March which was £1300 but flying with BA. So cost went up from March to apeak season month of July & British Airways to free drinks Virgin. So £500 extra I dont think is too bad.

Soddy, swanky hotels. I got the Luxor in Vegas. Planned it we we are there in weekdays where its $37 per night. But obviously the package over booked its all included. I just looked to see costs.

I want to go to Vegas and Texas. What I'd really love to do is get a car and cruise on route 66.

You can't really go wrong with hotels in Vegas, they are all class. I think we paid more because it was Christmas/New Year when we were there.

I was up the strip a bit in the Venetian. All the hotels look really close from ground level, but they are actually miles apart. It took us 45 minutes or so to walk to Hooters. If we didn't love boobies and burgers so much we would have given up.

Id probably say two trips. Then again, have a look as Texes doesnt sound expensive from what Sooddy said + US Internal flights are cheap as.
Just make sure you dont venture into redneck territory & get lynched Viva Laugh

Soddy, Fair play mate. I'll be going hooters lol. Im going to get the metro pass. As Luxor is at one end of the strip I figure start walking, do stuff, get tired jump on the metro back to hotel. Then just get metro back to where I left off, start walking & repeat the cycle.

You are significantly closer to Hooters than we were, it's down that southern end of the strip. The restaraunt itself is small, compared to the fact that it's in a 15 storey hotel called the Hooters Hotel.

Hard to say mate. Just depends what you want to do really. Shopping throughout. Restaurants throughout. Ive looked at the 10 minute Helicopter ride over Vegas at night which I think was about £60 each, defo going to the roof top clubs like Ghost Bar so id imagine that to bit more than your average price for a drink. Got the gun range package.
Me & the Mrs are planning to taking at least £1000 each converted into $$$. We want to take enough tho so we dont worry about budgeting & if there's something we spot we can just go do it.
Using a cash point out there will probably cost a bomb!

Ha awesome. All the hotels are huge like that arent they?.....sure a mate of mine said he got the lift to his floor xx number then when the doors opened there was 4 long corridors filled with rooms.
Im really looking forward to San Fran after all you said before. Ive always wanted to go Vegas so im sure ill enjoy it.

Hotels are pretty huge yeah, I think most have about 15 or so floors and the rooms are great. Not talking Travelodge here, you get two big screen TVs, a dining table, sofas. Every hotel has it's own casino, it's own clubs and bars, it's own shops and restaurants. There really isn't much reason to actually leave...

If you leave the strip you will find quite a concentration of strip bars and other such fare. You will probably also get a million Mexican men trying to give you cards for various hookers.

England team to play Moldova tomorrow.

Joe Hart

Kyle Walker - Gary Cahill - Phil Jagielka - Ashley Cole

Steven Gerrard - Jack Wilshere - Frank Lampard

Theo Walcott - Rickie Lambert - Danny Welbeck

Thoughts? I'm glad Cleverley has been left out for once. Not sure why Baines is left out.

Considering the injuries, I don't think it looks that bad. Hopefully Sturridge will be fit for the Ukraine game, other than that I'd be happy with that side.

I think if Sturridge plays ahead of Lambert for the Ukraine game, we'd have a very versatile front three with all three able to swap positions.

Isn't it amazing how better the balance is without Rooney!

I wonder if, back in 2003, when we were all pondering how to fit Lampard and Gerrard in the same side, we considered that 10 years later we'd be heading to a 2014 World Cup with both still in the side...
