Works well in close and an excellent array of shots, tends to rush his work to much at times in an effort to entertain which causes him to get caught more than he should. Good punch for the knockdown though.

He was 11st 9lbs of fat, but he was game to some extent.

Eubank Jr can't be judged just yet, but he's doing everything he can to be noticed (right idea, publicity= money). Wants to fight on the Fury vs. Haye undercard so should get him more exposure.

The opponent hadn't been stopped before, so not a bad nights work from Chris.

I often feel he gets a lot of flak on this board and from boxing fans in general; perhaps due to the link with his father. He shows good boxing ability, an excellent array of shots and also good hand speed.

What I like is that he seems very keen to learn the sport inside out and hone his craft. Tonight (and other nights) he showed that he takes the advice of his coach on board, he was getting caught in the 2nd, composed himself, went back to boxing and chose his shots with more care in the 3rd. The result a good stoppage.

Still young, plenty of time on his side I think he will go on to do well, World Level...not sure just yet but he is another youngster to throw in the mix at Super Middle!

At the risk of being laughed out of the forum...I would fancy him to beat DeGale right now, not completely based on how highly I rate Eubank Jnr...but also the fact I think Chunky is vastly overrated!

he took brian rose to points (10 rounds according to box rec) and had never been stopped.
the stoppage was a bit early but was a good knock down then he was under a lot of pressure so ref stepped in.

to junior's credit he admitted the ref was early to step in but it looked like he was on his way out anyway.

oh and when the opening bell rang he stayed stood still in his corner, arms by his side and just let his opponent come to him, haha.

it's little things like that, he's good for boxing.

was thinking the same, they stumbled to the floor, he got head butted and had to retire.

I have sympathy for Jr. They seem intent on progressing him quickly.

It was a good win for him and he seems a genuinely decent lad in interviews. But, he's always overshadowed by his dad.

He could do with learning his trade out of the public eye but he is doing really well, considering the undue pressure he gets.

Isn't Richie Woodhall a different kettle of fish analysis-wise when it's 2 British fighters. Calling the flow of the fight beautifully. He's so biased when it's British vs Foreigner in my experience.
