Think outclassed is overstating it Alveraz certainly done enough to win 4 rounds and neither of them hardly threw a punch in the first 2. Floyd definitely won though and the judge who scored it a draw is a joke.

I would expect it to me much tougher if they have a rematch, Alveraz will learn a lot from that tonight and i doubt he would be so passive for the first half of the fight in a return match. If he had been aggressive when he had more gas in the tank it could have been a very different scrap. Hats off to Floyd though he is very special.

116-112 seems pretty fair. canelo had a good go between rounds 8 and 11. I don't think he ever had the stamina to pressure flloyd for more than half the fight. the footwork was a big difference, mayweathers is top quality and canelo a bit flat footed at times. think flloyd was struggling for pace at the end, did get a big negative but the boos woke him up

I honestly think Mayweather waltzed it. Not at his absolute best, but he didn't need to be. I think he dominated and outclassed Canelo.

I don't want to seem too harsh on Alvarez, but I was expecting more from him. Nowhere near as much urgency or aggression as I expected, particularly early on. Took his lumps but never gave himself a chance with that kind of gameplan.

Definitely the best Mayweather has looked higher than Welterweight mind you, albeit with a catchweight.

The fact is, if Mayweather was at his peak it would have been 120-108, but he backed off in certain rounds and that's the only reason Alvarez was able to win any rounds IMO.
