Oh my no, I was well ahead of the game and did my votes yesterday kunchtime.Azzy Mahmood wrote:When you say doing votes, you mean working out results? Otherwise you just forfeited £1m
I am well excited about kunch. I have chocolate swiss roll alongside my usual
In fact, only one person hasn't submitted in time, and now he's admitted it I can tell you it was Olly.

No feedback, just votes and some hilariously random goalscorers.

I am very impressed that you have fulfilled the duties that you said you would as a bare minimum when you joined the league.
Almost as impressed as that time I saw a cloud.

There will be but we gotta talk about how much I think.
I like sarcasm, even if it amuses only me. How is your hand now? Can you get a full grip on things? It'd be a sad life if I lost my grip on my righty.

I had a really good conversation with some 70 year old man who supports dortmund before they become the trendy hipsters choice.
Re: Euro Division LXVII
There was already a discussion involving Afro about 2 homepages ag0. I suggested the top three get £0, going down to the bottom three who get £5m.
Or we could just give everyone £5m and have done with it?

Re: Euro Division LXVII
Or a better idea no one gets money at all. You don't deserve anything if you lose and giving money no matter how little to the winners will just increase the gap between the top and bottom sides.
Re: Euro Division LXVII
It needs to be minimal still. Although it has been a pain the neck as a manager, having limited money has made the league much more interesting and closer.
That and the 4 injuries have been the best improvements we made in this league

Re: Euro Division LXVII
What about this then: title winners get £0, then every place after that gets £250k. So:
1st = £0k
2nd = £250k
3rd = £500k
4th = £750k
5th = £1m
6th = £1.25m
7th = £1.5m
8th = £1.75m
9th = £2m
10th = £2.25m
11th = £2.5m
12th = £2.75m
1st = £0k
2nd = £250k
3rd = £500k
4th = £750k
5th = £1m
6th = £1.25m
7th = £1.5m
8th = £1.75m
9th = £2m
10th = £2.25m
11th = £2.5m
12th = £2.75m

What we can do is give everyone a sponsor deal at the start of next season and if they fulfill their targets they get the money at the end of the season. Give three options with higher reward for taking higher risk.

Hands getting better. Just working on getting movement, still quite swollen but they said it could take 2 weeks to came down. As it was in a cast for 5 weeks my wrist was used to be static so im working on getting 90 degree angles & stuff again, fingers are slowly getting more movement. Cant make a fist yet, have been told different timescales on when I will but at the end of the day its all up to how hard I push myself.
Worst thing is Physio said no football or weights for 3 months as not to over exert it with any heavy pressure. Im well gutted. I am hoping my progress goes well & to get back to footie end of Nov/Dec. Dying to get back lifting weights too. Booked Sand Franb & Vegas for next July so I want to be in tip top shape.
Btw I will be getting a refresher on San Fran off you closer to the time.

I'd go along with that.
And for next season, rather than the whole guff around sponsors, just set a selection of 3 targets for each team to choose from with a similar sliding scale of reward as Viva alluded to.
I would keep it completely simple and divide the league into 3 or 4 based on league finish and each team in the same group, gets the same options.
I'm happy to come up with something

Just so you know, I continued to play football with a torn cartrlidge for over a year and a half. I'm John Terry, Terry Butcher, Bert Trautman, I'm cut from their cloth. I put my face where others are scared to put their boots. I'm old school, I'll take one for the team, I put my body on the line.

Will never avoid the media hype Soddy.
We win convincingly tonight we will be winning the WC next year...in the media.
One of those things Viva. How long you been out for now?
Hence why im resting my hand properly, i cant risk hurting it again, I know my holiday isnt till July but I dont want to rush things then damage it in say June before i go away.
Ive borrowed a mates exercise bike so I can keep legs strong + using the leg extension bit on my bench. Ill probably return to footie with stronger legs than before.

You're only moving afro because you're forced too, otherwise you'd be happy pretending to be a Taff.
No don't think I will Nick, I only had that minor op back in March to clear up the knee I was supposed to have the main one few months later but I said no. There's no guarantee that the knee will be solid again and it's just as likely to move out of place.
I know we don't follow cricket here much but the best batsman ever retired Sachin Tendulkar.
