Given that Cus is off who's captain? Cause just like the end against Zebre we look rudderless

Sorry, but I haven't worked out how to do quotes on my new toy yet, but in response to RDW's comment on a dangerous tackle - I thought it was dangerous if youdropped them. Trying not to betray Munster bias here, but it seemed to me that they put him down, fairky ggently and safely.

Re: Glasgow Warriors v Munster Rugby, 25 October
I thought the tackle was fine. Bit like a trip to Alton Towers, bit of air time & a hint of peril but ultimately a safe landing. Only quibble was the second Munster player had the Glasgow guy by the neck.ME-109 wrote:and he was gently returned to the ground...RDW_Scotland wrote:Also a clear dangerous tackle - legs were lifted up

This ref has absolutely no clue in the scrums.
What was the point in binning both of them??

The Glasgow forwards are complete idiots. The ref told them on numerous occasions not to push before the ball was put in.....what do they do?

Re: Glasgow Warriors v Munster Rugby, 25 October
Ever since Faletau perfected the chopped legs tackle on the Lions tour, everyone is using it. As it in a lot of cases simply a shoulder charge into the opposing player's ankles, it is surely illegal (no arms used). There have been a few instances where I have seen refs giving penalties for it, but I hope it won't become afeature of the game - the illegal version I mean.

toonue must take the blame again - Playing two slow centres who can't pass. Does anyone still think Lamont should play for Scotland?

Well done Munster. Townsend very naive - scrum on their line, Glasgow scrum on top, Munster loose head yellow carded, and we change front row, nuts.

Glasgow learn that hard way that you should ALWAYS take easy penalties when they are on offer!
That ref really needs to go on a scrum training course

Toonie mistakes cost the game. Second loss this year, both doe to stupid selections and stupid substitutions.
Glasgow have a great back 3 - so play 2 centres with no pace and no pass.

What in gods name of jebus you mean by that. Glasgow were clueless and all Munster had to do was to wait for them to make mistakes. A very much second string Munster team for that matter.tigertattie wrote:Munster did what they needed to do. Was it poor for the game of rugby. Yes. Was it against the rules of the game. Yes. Well done Munster you play what's in front of you. We had you on on the rack , man off and we promptly take off our best prop and get penalised at the scrum!!! Bring on Niko when all we needed was a bit of composure and he decides to have several brain farts . A lesson to our management - don't panic!!!
