Aye, sexton injured. saw him pull up just before the whistle. hamstring or something by the look of it. Would rather we had Jackson, but lets see what Mad dog can do!

On both tries, we needed our cover defense - Redden. On first try redden didnt trust outside man to make the tackle, second try, he just couldnt be bothered covering.

For me, the problem is Redden. He seems to be trying too hard and is confusing the players around him. He is like a headless chicken out there, quick pass but Ireland need stability...

Reddan has been dreadful. Sexton showing once again why he isn't world class. Unless his pack is on top his kicking game is abject. ROG in his pomp would single handedly drag Ireland through games like this. Sexton never has.Thats the difference. Ireland's backrow is unbalanced as ever. This unit does not work. How many more games as evidence do we need?

Ireland still a man up so they need to capitalise on it and score early on.

Madigan on. Hope he does well.

Where on earth are Heaslip and POM at the breakdown? Lazy, lazy play from the backrow.

Kiss did an exceptional job as defensive coach until Kidney moved him to attack. If this is a new defensive pattern it sure ain't working.

So disappointing. Really poor captaincy there as well from POC. Not one Irish player could even gain a grading of 'meh'. 1-15 and subs have been poor or anonymous. And this is a pretty poor Australian side.
